Wake up to a jaw-dropping view of the water, and end your evening with a front row seat tp the most spectacular sunsets. Enjoy a cup of coffee or afternoon cocktail on the embankment of Weiss Lake. Whether you want to cast a line to catch bass and crappie or cruise out on the serene water, the property provides access to a private boat launch year-round. We hope you’ll take time for yourself, create new memories or reminisce on the old ones for a relaxing vacation.

Walcox Point is a well appointed cottage that can accommodate up to 5 guests. (2 beds with 1 person on a NON fold-out couch)

Are you the adventurous outdoorsy type or more of the relax-in-the-outdoors-y type? You’ll have access to the entire 2.5 acre private property, boat launch, floating pier and 850 feet of waterfront for whatever floats your boat. Pack your kayak and canoe, and paddle right into the serene waters of Weiss Lake. Grab your bike and helmet to peddle among the Appalachian trails for a scenic ride.

Clean and renovated

Property was very clean and newly renovated. There was some construction next door and my friends and I (ladies trip) woke up to several Men not too far outside the large lake view window. The view was nice, but the property was a little hard to find a really dark at night, and the kitchen is not well stocked with cookware/utensils. It was Worth the price, the host was very responsive, and it was overall a nice place to stay.

Amazing view

Great view with a perfect place to swim, boat, or fish. House was nice and had everything you need for a nice stay. The owner was so helpful and super nice to us. Always answered quickly and she was informative. Also lots of wildlife to see.

Picturesque

This property had beautiful views of Weiss Lake. The house itself was really nice and had everything we needed. It's a great open space where you can see the family room from the kitchen and the views of the lake. The front area was covered and was a great place to hang in the shade. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfy! We really enjoyed our time here. The owner was reachable and promptly answered my questions. I'm happy we chose this place.
