This little bungalow was cozy, quaint, and definitely gave âyou get what you pay forâ vibes but in a charming way. That said, the online photos were a bit optimistic. The listing mentioned a hot tub, which didnât exist (RIP to our spa dreams), but we managed to recover emotionally. The outdoor area was gorgeousâlike a secret gardenâbut the bugs were relentless. We basically played a live-action game of âdonât get bitâ every time we walked to the car. (We also made the bold decision to forgo bug spray, so thatâs partly on us.)The bed looked like it came with a fluffy comforter in the photos, but in reality, it was a decorative light quilt folded nicely at the endâcute, but not exactly cozy. The place was a little more snug than expected, but still a sweet stay overall. We saw a couple people during our visit, but no one said hi, so we werenât sure if we were sharing the space with other guests or ghosts. Bonus note: there are two bikes, but unless youâre training for the Tour de France, Iâd skip themâthey were more aerodynamic torture devices than beach cruisers. All in all, we had a good time. Just come prepared, expect a few surprises, and enjoy the garden⊠it really is the star of the show.
