Whether you’re here to relax on the porch with a good book, fish in the stocked catfish pond, cool off in the pool, or unwind in the hot tub, Ranchers Retreat at 3 Chicks Ranch offers the perfect country getaway in the heart of New Braunfels.

This charming cabin features 2 bedrooms, a loft, and 2 full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 12 guests. Inside, you’ll find a cozy, Texas-inspired space with an open-concept great room combining the kitchen, dining, and living areas under soaring ceilings with antique fans. The spacious kitchen boasts a large island perfect for entertaining, while the dining area includes a table and additional seating at the island’s bar stools.

The master bedroom offers a king-size bed, a walk-in closet with laundry facilities, and a private bath featuring a copper clawfoot tub and stone shower. The second bedroom, located downstairs, is conveniently situated next to the guest bathroom. The loft bedroom features two queen beds and a bunk bed with a twin on top and full on the bottom. All bedrooms and bathrooms are stocked with high-quality linens and televisions for your comfort.

Outside, enjoy a covered patio with ample seating, outdoor games, a pool, hot tub, pond, and a catch-and-release catfish pond (see notice). Spend hours soaking in the peaceful country ambiance and all the amenities this property has to offer.

Please note there are two cabins on the property, each a separate vacation rental with private entrances, yards, and pools/hot tubs — no shared spaces. If your group exceeds 12 guests, the second cabin can accommodate an additional 8. Ranchers Retreat is just 5 miles from the Comal River and Schlitterbahn, making it an ideal vacation spot for families, groups, or get-togethers.

Please note: Security cameras are located only on the porches of both cabins. No events are allowed on-site when booking through VRBO.

****Important Fishing Notice

Due to ongoing drought conditions, the water level has dropped significantly and is currently far from the dock, making fishing inaccessible at this time.

When water levels return and fishing from the dock becomes possible, we encourage a catch-and-release approach to help preserve the fish population.
Until then, we kindly ask that you refrain from fishing.
