Välkommen till The Big Chill Panama City Beach Florida!

Big Chill ligger direkt på stranden. Det finns inget mellan dig och havet förutom sand! Vi är belägna på den lugna västra änden av Panama City Beach. Vi är nära den nya Pier Park och Rosemary Beach.

Big Chill är perfekt för familjesammanträden och underhållande. Den har en stor, öppen planlösning och 3000 kvadratmeter är vackert inredda.

På övervåningen har två sovrum på stranden - alla med en king size-säng, TV och DVD, balkong vid stranden och privat badrum med bubbelbadkar, bänkskivor i granit, golv i travertin och duschkabin. Övervåningen är också sovrum 3 med en uppsättning våningssängar och en queen size-säng. Sovrum 4 är ett kung sovrum med privat balkong, TV och anslutande badrum. Detta badrum delas med våningssalen och har ett separat andra fåfänga med handfat som kan stängas av från badkar / dusch. Sovrum 5 är nere och har en drottning säng, TV / DVD, privat balkong och anslutande badrum. Detta badrum har bänkskivan i kvarts, skiffergolv och badkar / dusch.

Det viktigaste underhållande området har två skinnsoffor som omvandlas till bäddsoffor vid behov. Det finns en stor 50-tums platt-TV med stereo och DVD. En genomskinlig eldstad är ett bra tillskott för de kallare vinternätter. Köksbordet har plats för 8 och i köksbänken finns ytterligare 4 platser. Köket är fullt utrustat med Dacor-apparater: spis, dubbla ugnar, uppvärmningslåda och diskmaskin.

En pool vid stranden ligger bara 50 meter bort till stranden.

Family Vaca

We had 8 adults and 7 kids and this place was very comfortable for our group, very spacious and the ease of getting to the ocean and pool was great. The beach is not very busy in this location which was ideal for our group. It had everything you’d hope a beach house would have.

AMAZING!

This place was far beyond my expectation! Modern & clean. The location was perfect and the views were so beautiful. Close to the grocery store. We are a family of 15, so a 2nd refrigerator would have been helpful but might not be necessary for all who stay here. Also, we have a grandson with special needs so a gate would have helped at the deck. He was a little escape artist and loves the ocean! I would definitely rent this place again!

Our piece of paradise

We’ve been coming to this property for years and it never disappoints. The location and layout of the home are perfect for us and the beach is just steps away from the door which is a big plus. We’ve stayed at this property so many times, it feels like home.

Relaxing Escape

Perfect location for a more laid back and less crowded experience. House was gorgeous and the private boardwalk to the beach was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again:)

Great place! Great location!

7 ladies celebrating turning the big 6-0! We enjoyed this house so much! Beautiful decor, spacious living area and very large dining table to accommodate a larger crowd. A huge plus is the bedrooms all had their own bathrooms. Maybe 1 was a shared. Easy access to be beach, and perfect gulf view! Shopping and grocery very close! Patio is also spacious with upper balcony and 2 masters is definitely a hit! The back door locks are a little tricky and not user friendly but the owners responded immediately late evening to help trouble shoot. Then sent maintenance out the next day! All in all it was great and we will be back!

Amazing house

Beautiful location on the beach. Even better in person than the pictures. House was amazing! Just grab your own bag of ice to use. Ice maker is slow but not a big deal at all. Our group had plenty of room and the views were beautiful. Saw dolphins swimming in the ocean.

Amazing Get Away

The house is amazing! So beautiful and cleanest place we have ever stayed. View is gorgeous! Plenty of room for the whole family. Beds were so great I fell asleep almost instantly. Love this house and would definitely stay here again!

A Peaceful Beach and Pleasant Home You'll Love

We've come to the PCB area every other year for the past 10-11 years, and each time our family has grown, so we've had to find a new place to rent for the week. Big Chill 2 was the best of a long string of wonderful homes. It's one we'd love to return to in future years. We have 6 adults and 8 children, and everyone absolutely loved the accommodations. I loved the responsiveness and care of the owners. The large dining area, kitchen, and living room area was fabulous for meals, games, and conversation. The access to the beach, pool, and even tennis courts was very convenient. Feel comfortable to rent this place for your vacation, but just let us get into the rotation again in 2024.

First Family Vacation in a Long Time - It was fantastic!!!

My wife and I wanted to host a great vacation for our children and grandchildren as it was long overdue thanks to Covid. The location of this property is amazing. I grew up in Panama City and have stayed pretty much everywhere when we come back to the beach and this is by far the best location we have experienced. We loved the house as it had plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 children. It is perfect for a large family. We had a couple of issues early on but Karen was very responsive to our needs and they were resolved to our satisfaction. Our family built lots of great memories on this trip and I would highly recommend this property!!!

Absolute Nightmare.. Stay Away!!!!

From the moment we walked into this house we have dealt with problem after problem. 1. House was disgustingly dirty. We spent over 2 hours cleaning. Food, plates, trash, dirt, sand ,dust under tables and all furniture. The pull out sofa must have never been cleaned. Still had old food folded up In it. The main rug in the living room was completely full of sand. We have videos of all this. All the furniture was covered in food and sand. 2. Black mold all over the place. All over vents in the ceilings and around water heater door upstairs. Completely disgusting. We have been breathing this all week. Mold in all 4 showers. 3. The air handler room upstairs is cover in inches of disgusting dirt and dust. Looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in years. I have plenty of pictures and videos 4. The upstairs has not gotten below 80 the entire trip. It’s been miserable trying to sleep. We’ve had to go buy fans just to try to keep everybody somewhat cool down. Having only one return for the entire house is absolutely ridiculous!!! There’s no way this house will ever cool off like this. 5. 2 old disgusting towels per bathroom???? Really 6. Bugs bugs bugs. We have been attacked by bugs in the house all week. Bugs in the beds, in the bathrooms , crawling on the walls, and tonight was the final straw. The downstairs bathroom is completely infested with flying ants. 7. This house deserves less than one star. I cannot believe you have reviews like you do, they have got to be fabricated 8. Spent 45 min cleaning sand off the rear decks and rinsing off all furniture. Had not been touched from last guest. 9. Dryer takes forever to dry clothes because the vent going outside is completely full of lint and needs to be cleaned out. 10. Furniture is dirty with stains and dirt. Just gross to even sit on. 11. We haven’t been able to cook any meals ( not 1 meal) because the house is soooo stinking hot we don’t want to add any heat to it. 12. This has been just horrible!!

Beautiful views, great property, and on the beach!

We rented this lovely beach house for a week with our daughters, their husbands, and our five grandchildren. We never had to worry about finding a spot on the beach because it wasn’t crowded. There was a pool two houses down and the grandkids walked there sometimes when they wanted a change. We all boogie boarded and bodysurfed. So much fun! The property gave us plenty of space for 6 adults and 5 grandchildren, ages 9-13. We cooked at home most nights but drove to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach for dinner a couple of times. If I had one suggestion it would be to buy a bigger grill. We didn’t use it because we had too many people to cook for. We made great family memories here and would love to go back again.

Best beach house in which I’ve ever stayed

We had four adults and six teens stay in this home. The four older teens used the bunk bed room and had a great time rooming together. It was wonderful to be able to walk from the deck ramp to the beach! The only problem we encountered was the first night we stayed there. Someone tried to put rice in our gas tanks. This is not typical of the area, and nothing happened to our vehicles the other nights. Spring breakers had caused a lot of trouble the week before we arrived, and the police officer told us they had been dealing with all kinds of problems from them. The owner responded to my email regarding this immediately and stated nothing like that had ever happened before at The Big Chill. Thankfully, the rice did not get into any of our tanks. The beds were very comfortable, and there was enough room for the ten of us. Overall, we were very satisfied staying here.

Beautiful Home and Location

The house is very nice and comfortable. Beds and linens were comfy . Kitchen is well stocked and our family enjoyed our spring break together. A small thing but, towel bars and or hooks would be a benefit in the two upstairs bathrooms.

Great family stay with stunning views

Wonderful views from every room facing the ocean. Great white sugar beaches right off the steps of the property. Beds were comfy and Bathrooms were spacious. Plenty of kitchen items. Gave the cleanliness 4 stars as there was some trash on the sides of the house and the front yard area. Had 3 cockroaches in the house with us. There was a couch missing? (Another place to sleep…luckily we had 3 people cancel or it would have been an issue.). The fireplace didn’t work, as they had a part on order. We had a great time and would definitely come back to this property.

Beach Time

This is the place. Views from 2 king size bedrooms, living room and kitchen are as good as it gets. Two bedrooms face the back of the house. All beds very comfortable. High quality furniture. Terrace is amazing. Nice pool two houses over. Loaded kitchen with good quality utensils. Very large tv if that floats your boat. Nothing looks cheap. What else you need? Of course owner was very quick and responsive

Loved this house and location

Our family of 11 loved Big Chill 2. The house was the perfect size for us. It is in a great location - not right in the middle of Panama City and on a stretch of beautiful beach with no high rises and plenty of beach space. The view from the kitchen and living space and back decks were just beautiful with a short and easy walk down to the water. We were a little worried about not having our own pool and the shared pool being 3 doors down - but it was great. We could enter the pool from the street side or the beach side and it was a nice spot for when we needed a beach break. It was never too crowded and had bathrooms connected. The house has everything you need to make meals - a great fridge and double oven, and newer laundry appliances. We loved shopping for groceries at Carousel just up the road. The AC struggled a few days in the afternoon to maintain the temperature - getting up to 78 when it was set on 72, but caught up overnight - and it was a heat index of 100 + those days. Very nice the trash pick up was two days in the week. Could use a few more kitchen towels and sharper knives but those things are minor. The downstairs bedroom TV was missing an HDMI cable so could not be used. But overall a wonderful stay - highly recommend this house and location! Thank you

Great beach house for large family

The Big Chill is a comfortable house with more than enough room for our large family (8 adults and 6 children). The house was clean and well stocked. Chris, the property manager was great and immediately responded to our questions and fixed a few minor issues. The only negative was the refrigerator and freezer didn’t get very cold and the ice maker didn’t work at all which meant daily trips to the grocery for bagged ice. Chris said the owner was aware of the issue and he did stop by the house with bagged ice on the first day. As this house is appealing to large groups I suggest the owner invest in a new, large capacity, quality refrigerator Despite this minor inconvenience we will definitely return next year!

Beautiful Home but a few minor issues

This was a wonderful vacation home for our family of 15 (8 adults and 7 children). The location was perfect and the view is unbeatable. The 2 master bedrooms were beautiful. A few minor things updated in the house and I would have given it a 5/5 instead of taking one point off. When we arrived the bunk room beds were not made and we had to put the sheets on the beds for the kids. One of the bathrooms wasn’t spotless like we expected. There were zero hooks in our bathroom to hang towels, bathing suits, etc. and when sharing a bathroom with three kids that would have been nice. The freezer never worked properly and we had to buy ice the entire week. The grill is a charcoal grill and very tiny when cooking for 15 people. The location and proximity to the beach is glorious… but for the price we paid it could have been in a little better condition. The outside could be updated a bit. The pictures online definitely make it appear larger than it is. The view is the best thing and the sunsets are beautiful.
