Great spot for a keys getaway

Beautiful serene, location, located close enough to Key West and also nice restaurants in the area and close to Bahia Honda State Park, which was beautiful and the key deer areas.

Key west trip

This place was exactly what my husband and I wanted for our 40th anniversary . A good spot to stay, not far from beaches and Key West . Would stay again!

Boat lovers, great location

We thoroughly enjoyed the property. It had parking for the boat, ramp access, two pools and the view from Cottage 1 was amazing. Property Management communication was great when we had a question about the nearby attractions. Highly recommend this quaint property.

Cute cottage, perfect for a couples getaway.

This is a little quaint cottage excellent for a couples getaway. About 20 mins to Key West. We loved the big patio and the dock through the mangroves. We didn’t cook but ate at the Broil Steakhouse literally across the street two nights for dinner. Great property and a fun little cottage. They have houses, duplexes, a house with a pool and a shared pool. Overall would definitely recommend and will be back in the future.

We had a good visit here. 20 minutes to Key West. We had dock and water access with a large screened in porch area. This is a great spot for two folks. No surprises. It all worked as planned.

It got the job done

The bungalow was the perfect size for a couple. Like many reviews state, it requires some repairs and updates. For instance, the blinds were broken in many places. We also had trouble with pests while staying there because the back door didn’t close properly. Despite that, the house had everything we needed for our stay and the host was responsive.

Best bang for your buck

Mrs. Susan was AMAZING!!! The place is what it is! What you see is what you get! It is a place to sleep and shower. If you want to stay in a 400 a night condo then do that. If you want to spend that money elsewhere and have a place to sleep and shower, this is it!! The place is sooo quite at night! Perfect water side hangout with a private dock! 3 of us guys took a guys trip and absolutely LOVED the place! There is no decor, it is a cut and dry place! But we will be back!!

Outside seating

A majority of the outside seating was broken. There were quite a few repairs that could be made to the inside and outside of the house, that would be somewhat easy. ,,that could make a huge difference. They are the same from 2 years ago. Perhaps the owner should take a visit. Otherwise great location and even though small great for what we require.

Another Perfect Vacation At Our Favorite Place

We have been coming here for the past few years, usually during Memorial Day. We are always so relaxed and pleased with all aspects of our stay. Already working on booking again for next year!

Did not meet expectations

Our first impression as we entered was surprise. I am incredibly surprised people are giving this place 10’s. When I rent I rely on others ratings and reviews. The first thing noted is the pictures on the listing are NOT accurate. There is a plastic table with 3 plastic chairs on the patio, not the cute furniture in the photo on the listing. The screened porch has a tear in the screen, high above the door, so it must have happened when someone was working there. Mosquitoes were already present in the area and to my dismay inside the house. There are gaps in the back doorway and what they have tried to repair is with duct tape, in the kitchen and bathroom windows. There are cupboard doors missing and cute touches of decorations that were not like that in the listing photos. There was dirt on at least one wall. The furniture was stained,, 2 small chairs and the couch. The furniture is completely different color than in the listing. The bed “squeaked ” as if it was rubbery?! The dust ruffle was filthy, although the bedding appeared clean, thankfully. 1 lightbulb out of 3 worked in the bedroom. No hangers available. Only 1 nightstand, I made a makeshift one from our suitcases. No supplies, for example Saran Wrap, I know that may be a “luxury”, but every place I’ve stayed has basic supplies. Who travels with items like that?!.the microwave was new but difficult to figure out. My husband had to fix the toilet, luckily he is handy. Now for the positive, quiet and great shower.
