Memorial Day 2025

If you’re looking for a home away from home then look no farther because this is it. Everything was just as advertised and perfect for our holiday weekend trip. Kadie & Joe have a wonderful place here and everything was great. recommend.

Very clean and well kept

The home was very clean and even nicer than the pictures showed. The neighborhood was very quiet and the property was very well maintained.

Nice quick stay

We were in town for my daughters softball tournament and needed a home to be able to unwind after a long day at ballpark. This home provided just that, we were also able to cook dinners and do laundry to save money. Had everything we needed and I recommend this home to anyone.

Excellent Getaway

We stayed one night and loved the house. It was super clean. It felt very homey. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly need! The host was super helpful with suggestions about where to find groceries and treats!

The BEST GETAWAY EVER

The house is beautiful, clean and quiet. You definitely get to relax and disconnect from everything and everyone! I love this house and it will definitely be my getaway home from now on out!

Private peaceful hideaway

So peaceful! Yet minutes away from stores and restaurants. Hosts were accomodating and great communication. Home had everything you needed and more. Very comfortable and very clean! Would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Amazing tucked away place to just RELAX

Kadie and Joe were amazing hosts, the place is super cute and was very clean. We had everything there we needed (even w/o internet/cable from Helene, first morning woke up to dear in the driveway that was super cool. Best of all it was literally feet from my best friends home. Unfortunately cut short due to the hurricane Milton but we’ll definitely be back

Just As Described

This was such a nice place surrounded by woods for the most perfect peaceful vacation. I stayed with my 3-year-old daughter and she was thrilled with seeing deer multiple times on the property. The house was perfectly clean and they really thought of everything. Anything I needed or forgot to pack was there. They even had bottled water in the fridge for us to drink which was so nice until I could get to the store. The hosts communicated very well, check in and check out were a breeze. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay.

Property was recommended to us by family, and after staying here myself, I too will recommend this place. We arrived after dark, the large reflective numbers on the mailbox, which marks the driveway, made the home easy to find. The home was clean and inviting, very easy to relax and get comfortable. The hosts have stocked the bathrooms with any toiletries you may have forgotten. THE BEDS ARE SO COMFORTABLE. The rooms are nicely decorated and homey. Personal bath towels were set out on the ends of the beds, and makeup removing wash cloths were in a basket near the sink. Extra towels and linens are neatly labeled in the closet, making it easy to find what you’re looking for. The hosts are very kind, and easy to reach should you need them.

Very clean and peaceful

Very clean and peaceful. The home is generally well- appointed and tastefully decorated. However, we would suggest replacing the short toilets with normal-sized ones to better accomodate taller persons. The owners are accomodating and thoughtful and have all the bases covered in providing the things needed for a pleasant stay. In the write up, they emphasize that they are featuring their rental property as a retreat of sorts, but my wife and I would have enjoyed having the option to watch TV, as we failed to read the write up as carefully as we should have and were therefore disappointed that there was no TV reception. Not the owners fault, as they make that clear.

We provide an assortment of DVDs, games and activity books, but we're sorry you were not able to watch live TV. We were glad you enjoyed the local springs (Fanning Springs State Park) in the area - there are so many fun things to do in the surrounding area, including other state parks, the river, etc. Thanks for being great guests and taking good care of our home!
