We had a lovely stay. The home was as described. It had a well equipped open kitchen and lots of natural light in the main areas. We enjoyed the beachfront access and bird watching.

Perfect Quiet Getaway

Our stay was just about perfect in every way. Great location, beautiful scenery, quiet neighborhood, beach access just steps from the door and accommodations that were clean and comfortable. We will definitely return here again!

Lovely serene home at the beach

We had a nice stay at this home, right on the beach. Beds were comfortable, and kitchen was very very well equipped. Loved all the glassware and pottery dishes. We used the outdoor Weber grill for dinner. Hosts were excellent at coordinating our stay.

We had a great Galentine’s getaway on Lummi Island. We were incredibly lucky with the weather, which made being right on the water even more special. The views of the water and mountains were stunning, and we loved watching the little ferry pass by. The house was very clean and comfortable and was well stocked throughout, with plenty of bedding and towels. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook all our meals. We also appreciated the reasonable and straightforward checkout instructions. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing trip with friends, and we would happily return.

A peaceful splendor

This house was located right on the beach and we were lucky to be able to see the ferry come and go everyday across the sound. Was lovely waking up and having coffee outside on the porch in the suns rays. We played ping pong upstairs and kayaked and cycled. A great peaceful, quiet atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Complete Relaxation

This is our second time here. I love it. It is right on the waters edge and so peaceful. You can watch the ferry go back and forward and all the wild life in the water and land. We kayaked and explored the island. The island people are very friendly and the house was very comfortable and inviting.

Great view and excellent accommodations

The house was great for the 3 14 year olds and 3 adults. Loved the view, the ping pong and the pool table. Lots to read and plenty of games. Kitchen was great, lots of cooking stuff. The listing says two bedrooms, for some reason the the pictures show three bedrooms labeled 1,2 and 3. There is only two bedrooms .bedrooms labeled

Absolute Magic

Not only is this house even more incredible than the pictures would indicate, which you can see the location and house are amazing, but the hostesses were also incredible! The house is stocked with everything from indoor/outdoor games, books, additional chairs and everything you could need to maximize your time at this fabulous house. Everything was so well thought out and planned and my group had the most magical time. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer.

Lovely, Private Beachfront Home

Serene place to stay on Lummi Island. Comfortable home, good kitchen with most everything needed for cooking, and very thoughtful amenities (separate towels for bath and beach, for example). The views of the water and the mainland are incredible from the house, and about 30 steps from the front door puts you on the beach. The beach area is shallow, making the water warm enough to swim in warm months without a wetsuit. If you choose to swim or go in the water, bring water shoes. Like most beaches in the sound, the beach is rocky with occasional barnacles. The hosts helpfully provide boots which are nice for wading at low tide. We enjoyed watching deer browse in the front yard, various birds including a surprise sighting of a white pelican, and fish jumping out of the water at high tide to catch low-flying insects.

Amazing Lummi Island Get-away!

The home and property were just as described but what a wonderful surprise were all the special touches the hosts had to welcome us to our stay! The layout of the home is perfect for a small group, with open yet cozy spaces to gather for meals or games or just look out the expansive windows at the beautiful view. The porch felt like an extension of the living room with a wall of windows and french doors, and offered a protected and private outdoor space from which to watch the beautiful skis and nature, included a visiting doe. The kitchen was well stocked and super user friendly which made cooking together almost as fun as dining together, and the ping pong table and many games helped family fun. And each sleeping space had its own style and charm. We felt both at home and on vacation the minute we arrived. The house is beautiful and well-appointed in all things and the hosts friendly, helpful and caring, We will certainly return!

Beautiful house, perfectly kept and the location couldn’t be better.

The place is beautiful, very peaceful, super clean and comfortable. The hostess were very attentive. We enjoyed our long weekend with our son. We’ll love to come back.
