Visiting the Stockyards

My husband and I came to Ft Worth to see the Stockyards. The house is as depicted on VRBO. Very clean and comfortable. The yard was perfect for my little dog. It’s an older neighborhood but very quiet. If we were to visit Ft Worth again, we would definitely stay there again.

Very comfy, tastefully decorated

Wonderful place to stay, comfortable beds in 2/3 rooms. Decor was beautiful! Only upgrades would be some different pillow options as the ones there were quite flat and also so new towels. Definitely would come back though and our host communicated with us promptly when booking. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

Great place to stay with dogs

Well thought out place loved the little things like water cooler and bagged ice and chip bags and nuts dog toys and most of all fenced yard that keeps your dog in. Thanks for letting us use your place.

This is one of the cutest VRBOs we have ever stayed in! The details of snacks, dog accessories, toiletries through out the house I have never seen before! House is adorable with an amazing backyard! Great stay in Ft. Worth and great to work with!

Relaxing

The house was very clean and had every convenience item one would need on vacation and then some. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dog and the shaded patio was a very relaxing spot to enjoy your favorite beverage. The neighbors were quiet and there were many options for restaurants to dine in or doordash. Would definitely stay again!

Ft. Worth get away

The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Equipped with washer dryer, wi fi and an office which was perfect so my son was able to study. Nice backyard…too bad it was tooo hot outside to enjoy the sitting areas set up outside. Definitely recommend.

Complete Nightmare: Avoid This Property at All Costs

Absolutely horrendous experience. We were in Ft. Worth for less than 48 hours for a competition at the convention center, and I deeply regret choosing this place. The heater didn’t work on a chilly 40F February day, leaving us freezing in the middle of the night. The house was filthy—long, dark hairs were scattered on the towels and bedding, the towels themselves were dirty, and to top it off, there was a beer bottle discarded in the front yard. As if that wasn’t enough, there was a disgusting, used sponge left out in the kitchen. It was clear no effort had been made to maintain the property.We were forced to leave early and check into a hotel just to salvage the trip, incurring an additional expense for the last-minute booking. The neighborhood was poorly maintained, adding to the overall sense of neglect. While the host offered a 50% refund, it hardly made up for the inconvenience, discomfort, extra cost, and frustration we endured. Honestly, we would have been better off booking a hotel from the start—it would’ve saved us all the hassle, disappointment, and unnecessary expense. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs.

PEACE OF MIND

ME AND THREE SISTAS DECIDED TO DO A STAYCAY AND VISIT THE FT WORTH STOCKYARD JUST TO GET A LITTLE PEACE OF MIND AND I MUST SAY IT FELT LIKE HOME AWAY FROM HOME THIS HOME WAS MORE THAN WHAT WE HAD IMAGINED WE WER ALITTLE AT ODDS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD BUT IT TURNED OUT TO BE A QUIET PEACEFUL NEIGHBORHOOD, I REALLY RECOMMMEND IT FOR A PEACE OF MIND.WE REALLY DIDNT SEE ANY NEIGHBORS UNTIL THE CHECKOUT DAY NICE LIL ELDER COUPLE ACROSS THE ST. MINDING THEIR OWN BUSINESS AS WE WER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOME MR. J WATKINS IS SUCH AN AWESOME HOST HE HAS HOME FULLY STOCKED WITH ALL YOUR NEEDS AS STATED ON THE WEBSITE.THE HOME IS VERY COZY, COMFY BEDS /LOTS OF PILLOWS THAT WAS A PLUS FOR ME "HOME AWAY FROM HOME." THE BACKYARD WAS NICE TO ENJOY MORNING COFFEE OR A NIGHT OUT CHILLING BY THE FIREPIT(DOWNFALL THE GATE DOOR WAS ON THE GROUND UPON ARRIVAL I TAKE IT THE HIGH WIND PLAYED A PART IN THAT NOT SURE BUT WE PICKED IT UP AND ENJOYED OUR NITE RELAXING. I REALLY LOVED THE FACT THAT HE NEVER BOTHERED US ON OUR ENTIRE STAY HE LET HIS HOME TRULY BE OUR HOME FOR OUR WKND STAYCAY ! TOTAL PEACE OF MIND. IF YOU DONT BOTHER HIM HE DEFINETLY WONT BOTHER YOU! Excellent management and place!

Excellent experience! The owner worked with us as we were coming in town for a wedding and needed to arrive late and leave a little bit late. Everything was in place and super clean and convenient to Fort Worth. Will definitely stay again. Great experience for the price!

Absolutely perfect! Very nice place to stay near stockyards

The house was very clean, very well furnished and decorated. Close to the stockyards and great place to stay with family. The host was very commutative and helpful throughout our stay. No issues whatsoever and will definitely be coming back when I’m in ft. Worth again for work or just a family getaway.
