Beautiful home in great location. Nice views of the lake and easy to take advantage of all that Incline Village has to offer from this property. We loved the room layout for our two families with little kids. Plenty of space. That said, there were some disappointments... Check in requires going to an office to commence an "after-hours" experience to get a key that is just inefficient. There were cobwebs around the lights in the dining room, an empty propane tank on the grill (identified while trying to light it with prepared steaks on a plate in my hand), half the reasonable amount of towels for the number of guests, and almost NO staple supplies. We quickly ran out of paper towels, and in addition to the propane, had to go purchase olive oil, salt, etc. We've rented a dozen times in Incline (and elsewhere) so we get that homes vary in what the owner provides, but this felt a too sparse for the quality of home & price. The owners did provide marsh mellow roasting sticks for the fire, as well as three sleds, but as nice as that was, items like tin foil, zip lock bags, and garbage bags (there were 3 of those) forced us to run to the store before we could even really get settled. This home feels like it was once a gorgeous and much-loved place where the owners spent a lot of time, but has now evolved into just a heavily rented, slightly out dated place that just doesn't get deep cleaned or well stocked in order to maximize profits. To be fair, it's still nice and I don't want to misrepresent the property, it's just the first time we have paid premium price for a very large, nice place in Incline to find it so sparsely supplied - and just a little tired. The best way to articulate the way the home is "outfitted" would be to relay that hand laid stone floor tiles in the kitchen are loose, the "high-tech" TV system had SIX remotes (NO joke, it took an hour to figure out how to play a show for the kids), and the convertible ping pong table looked OK but had a broken net.
