Howe Cottage, pet friendly, short walk to downtown
The Howe cottage was built in 1876 and received several additions since then. This cozy 980 square ft Cottage is fully fenced in (inc. the front yard) that's perfect for dogs. A half mile walk to the corner of Broad St and Thomas St. Beautiful Crepe Myrtles in the front yard. Over flow parking available on S. Poplar St. A spacious living room with plenty of seating. Two TVs with basic cable / Roku streaming and 400mps wifi. Washer and Dryer in the kitchen.
The space
A very cozy space with lost of windows. The front porch was converted into a second bedroom. Two entrances. The front entrance has a flight of steps and the back entrance has a small deck with one step. A spacious kitchen connects to a hallway office. This is a one bathroom house.
Guest access
Lockbox on the back porch. Lockbox code will be provided the day of check in.
Other things to note
We have a charcoal grill and a firepit on this property. We do NOT provide wood or charcoal. You can source both locally while you're in Athens. Please make sure you extinguish all fires before leaving the property or going to sleep for the night.
