One of a kind tranquil getaway located in the heart of South Bruce Pennisula and close to the beautiful Sauble Beach but away from all the hustle of a busy beach town! Come shop and enjoy the beach life but escape to your country oasis and relax with friends and family! Cottage is in a quiet and a very friendly neighborhood, it offers 2 bedrooms, a bunkie and 1 bathroom, with a fully equipped kitchen and a large deck surrounded by towering trees. The fire pit in the backyard is perfect for making s'mores under the starry sky. It is a place for you to retreat, relax, reset and revive yourself.

When you are here, you get to use the cottage, the bunkie, the garden, the garage and all the green area around. We also have a snowmobile on premises, please contact us if you would like to use it. Lots of green space to explore. There are many trails and many places to go hiking and carry adventure activities or relax at the close by beach.

We give you complete privacy to enjoy the house, but we are always available on chat so feel free to message us here or if you have any question or need recommendations of things to do while in Wiarton. Will be more than happy to help you.

Very friendly neighborhood and laid back vibe. Close by beach. Serene and calm area in lush nature.

Lots of ATV and snowmobile trails as well as roads for cars and bikes.

• This place is in a well and septic so we ask everyone to be very careful and make sure to follow the rules. We all must take good care of this peaceful place.
• BBQ and Firepit in the backyard

Save your money

Our stay was the least amount of enjoyable. When we arrived, we were having difficulty with the lock box so we contacted the host. To begin with, the contact info provided was for an employee who no longer worked there. Thankfully another number was provided and the host was less than helpful. Great location, but bad service.

The location of the property was great, it’s close to everything; sauble falls, beach, and conservation areas. Great space for doing activities outside - camp fire, volleyball, badminton. The host was also really flexible and accommodated 2 additional people with us. However, service was unfortunately terrible. We walked in with a laundry in the washing and had to put it in the dryer ourselves, which wasn’t bad at all. But we also noticed that the place didn’t look like it was thoroughly cleaned when we got there, mat in the back was still muddy. The wi-fi was not working, it did work for a bit but then stopped working after I dealt with Bell for an hour (the host told me that I have to call Bell as they need someone close to the modem to fix the issue). Instead of relaxing that night, I had to deal with Bell, and then Bell eventually told us they couldn’t fix it and needed to replace their modem. This is extremely disappointing as the property was listed as wifi included, this is false advertisement. The host/ property manager took hours to reply when we sent a message (this is the emergency number they provided), the number we provided was out of reach when called (called multiple times).

Horrible stay

Did not stay even for 10mins. Wrong listing. 3rd bedroom was outside the house. No electricity in 3rd bedroom.

It was a cute and spacious place. Lots of kitchen supplies provided. Loved the area and the stars were just pretty. However, lots of issues with the property itself. Internet was not working the entire time I was there. It wasn’t really clean when we first walked in and the linens were half in the laundry and therefore, we had to do it ourselves. Not that big of a deal but the dishwasher was not cleaning properly and the BBQ was not working at all. Cute fireplace area tho.

So disappointing

The day before Canada Day long weekend, an unknown number texted us that the cottage was flooded and you couldn't go there. I had to wait for the owner to reply to the text on the app to confirm it was a text from them We got no proof that it was really being flooded! Our long weekend is easily ruined And no one was accountable for it So so disappointed

Good cottage, location and price

We loved the bunkie option for a separate area, but also that there was plenty space in the main cottage. Lots of yard space for games etc and only a quick drive up the road to the main beach and downtown! Only downfall is one bathroom, but was something we knew going in! We would definitely rent this cottage again.
