Dog friendly getaway, great location

Location was fabulous. Size of home worked well for family of 2 adults, 3 teens and 2dogs. Home is comfortable but dark indoors and can use a little cosmetic lift. We enjoyed walking the dogs around the beautiful neighborhood. We were there for only 2 nights.

Perfect Getaway Spot

This cozy chalet was perfect for our one night stay. The house had everything we needed and even a spacious yard for our dog! We were able to check in early, which was extremely helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

Big Bear Getaway

The overall experience was great. When we arrived, the TV had no volume so we had to call the office and immediately, they dispatched a technician to fix it. The office was prompt in answering phone calls and sending help. There is huge front and back yards that is fenced which is perfect if you have a dog. The only challenge was cooking. The kitchen and dining area were very small and not much space to maneuver. There were kitchen utensils and pots but only one tiny griddle which made frying / cooking very hard, we cooked our food in batches. Bring your own pans if you do a lot of cooking, disposable plates ( very few plates) for a large group and paper towels, they only provided 1 kitchen cloth. Otherwise, the cabin was very clean and cozy. I would recommend it.

The cabin was pretty clean. Had that sweet cabin feel. Perfect for our family. The neighborhood was lovely!

Nice location and space, but cabin needs Updates

The fire place and downstairs living room and dining area/kitchen is what initially attracted me to book this place. I like that the kitchen, dining, and living room area are all open to each other. The bedrooms were a decent size, except the third bedroom with the twin bed is extremely small. As for cooking equipment, the pots were decent but the pans were all really worn out. The non-stick pans were all scratched up (isn't it really unhealthy to eat pieces of teflon chips?) The railing for the staircase also seemed to be a bit loose and wobbly. I was nervous about the safety of the railing, especially since we had kids around, but it seemed sturdy enough not to fall over. The carpet seemed kind of dirty too. It needs a good carpet cleaning wash. Other than the updates for stronger stair case rails and a clean carpet, the cabin was good enough for a weekend getaway. Check in was fairly easy and it was nice that there was a number you could always call for questions or concerns.
