Located just two minutes away from The Highlands and Nubs Nob ski resorts, and only ten minutes away from the beautiful downtown shopping districts of both Harbor Springs and Petoskey, this charming Northern Michigan getaway is fully stocked for your vacation! Skiing, golfing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, hiking, shopping, fine dining, state parks, nature preserves, lake access; this home is located right in the middle of it all.
The house is currently set up to accommodate up to 12 guests, but is most comfortable with 8 or fewer. Accommodations include a full kitchen with plenty of gadgets for cooking (toaster, blender, mixer, tea kettle, Breville oven, Keurig, drip coffee maker, pots/pans etc.), two living room areas with 70" smart TVs, high speed internet with included WiFi, included laundry facilities, a large board/card/video game collection, and a large back yard that is perfect for that Fourth of July cookout (also a great place for the kids to run around, or maybe build a snowman!). It is a cozy and inviting place to stay while you are on your ski trip, golf outing, fall color tour, or really any time of year.
One of our favorite things about the house is that the slopes of The Highlands can be seen though the windows. In the winter, during night skiing when the slopes are lit up, it makes the house feel like it is part of a little alpine village.
We enjoyed decorating the home so that each bedroom has a color theme: red, yellow, green and blue. We change things up seasonally so the house will have a few fresh touches each time of year.
Additionally, we are located just a few doors down from Teddy Griffin's Road House, a great restaurant with terrific food. And just across the street from the restaurant is a convenience/liquor store and gas station (perfect for snowmobile trips!).

Very clean! Perfect location.

This is my second time staying here. This place is kept very clean and well maintained. It is also in a perfect location if you like to visit Nubs Nob and/or The Highlands.

Ski trip

Amazing house! Very comfortable beds and very clean. Plenty of room for our group to spread out. Very close to ski slopes and restaurants next door. We would defiantly stay again!! Communication with owner was great.

Excellent Spot for Family Ski Trip

Great house. Super clean and well stocked with everything you need. 2 full and one half bath is a great setup for families. They even had the place decked out for Christmas with decorations and a tree! Super easy and convenient location for both Highlands and Nubs Nob.

Friends of ours owned the home before us and we always thought it was such a great house, and in such a great neighborhood. We were overjoyed to be able to buy it from them. We really enjoy being so close to skiing and other winter activities.

After spending a number of years working in and around vacation properties, we would like to think we have a pretty good understanding of what features make up a great vacation rental. We have tried to bring as many of those features as possible to this wonderful home. We had a fun time setting up and decorating the house, and truly believe that our most valuable asset is our enthusiasm towards sharing the home with our guests.
