Made reservation but upon arrival decided not to stay. Front window broken with tape covering a large hole, place is much older and worn out than what it appears in the pictures. Stains on the carpet and furniture and moths in the bathroom. I messaged the the host who said there was a work order to get the window fixed and the area was safe. I have never been to Columbus so I cannot say what area is safe or not. I do not recommend anyone stay at this home.

The home was a pleasant home to spend time with our son and for him to being able to relax. Host was an awesome host for contacting us with a quick change of homes to rent.

Host didn’t care that there was a broken window at the front entry and not enough towels (only 4 for 5 people for a 4 night stay) Lights didn’t work in the following: front door and back patio, one bedroom, bathroom, closets. One of the lights that they barely had secured in the master bedroom fell on my mother’s head. Blinds that were all torn up and some didn’t cover the whole window so you didn’t feel secure. Although there were bars on the front door and back door which were a surprise and made you wonder what type of neighborhood we were in. Turns out they had a code violation and while I don’t know what it is it was worrisome with all the electrical issues. Must be a newer owner because those pictures are old. The house felt like a frat house and not a true nice home to stay in.

Air conditioning was broken. Repair guys were sent but the unit wasn’t repaired and has to be replaced. Besides that everything else was fine.

The house was very spacious and clean. The fenced yard was perfect for our puppy! It was close to Fort Moore base. The neighbor was quiet and nice, but outside of the neighborhood was not such a great area. The bathrooms were nice and extra shampoo was available. For a family we could have used more than 5 towels, but a washer and dryer was available so it was okay.Alit if the fixtures were missing light bulbs, but that is an easy fix.The king bed in the master bedroom was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in.The house is at the end of the street, so it was very private.Perfect for a family visiting Fort Moore Army base!

The perfect landing spot for a couple of days

We came into town for a basic training graduation. This was close to base and many places to eat/shop/visit. It is relatively easy to get to from the highway and is in a quiet neighborhood. Nestled in a patch of woods at the end of a street. The backyard was sufficient for our needs and could be great for smaller children to play. The house was clean and comfortable. There are some kitchen supplies if you have need to cook. The games and game areas are good for in house entertainment. Alejandro was very pleasant to interact with and very accommodating. We will look for his property again we return.

Great visit

We had a wonderful stay. Alejandro was very communicative and quick to answer all our questions. The house is minutes from the base and conveniently located to Piggly Wiggly. We went for my son's infantry graduation. We had plenty to do while at the house with all the games, took walks in the neighborhood and even grilled. We will definitely stay here again.

Columbus stay

It was a pleasant stay. Plenty of cooking supplies to fix home cooked meals. Definately bring your own towels. It was clean and well kept. Easy access to Ft. Moore. The owner was easily reached. I would reccommend anyone to stay here.

Wonderful neighborhood, exceptional service! Beautiful home to celebrate our sons AIT graduation. Extremely close to Ft Moore! Would definitely use again if we are ever in the area and would recommend to anyone interested.

Nice house

The house was very nice. It was nice to have plenty of spices, toilet paper, paper towels, condiments, etc. However for the size of the house the definitely need more towels for the bathrooms and some wash cloths or hand towels in the kitchen would be nice. Also, a larger frying pan for cooking would be helpful. Other than that, everything was great!

Great location and house, few warnings

I was overall impressed with the location and ease of the stay. We arrived and everything was accessible and available for us with the property manager available for communication in the VRBO app for questions. Overall everything worked the way I expected, no obvious discrepancies between the listing and what we found. I will warn that I ended up paying a fee of $175 I have no way of verifying as my children moved around and played with the toys, meant for them, in one of the bedrooms. I did not take pictures, however, so I have no way of contradicting the claim of the property manager that they destroyed the barbie house in said bedroom beyond repair. It was left similarly strewn as we found it. I was expecting to use this listing again for future visits but I think I'll be on the look out for something different in Columbus.

Everything was enjoyable and comfortable. The only downfall I would say, we were only provided with three towels for our entire day. I highly recommend this house to anybody.

Always a pleasant experience

This is our second time staying at this property. We stayed for our son turning blue ceremony and graduation. This property is tidy and clean, great neighborhood quiet and enjoyable. Spacious house, lots of amenities. Very easy to communicate with property owner, everything turned out great. Will be staying at this property again.
