From the first time I drove down that dusty beach road, with towering cacti as my guides....I felt the magic of Baja! I built this house with the incredible local team of architects and craftsmen and hard working local builders. The media sombres (wood shade structures) are made by hand. The artisan tiles on the patios, living room wall, bathrooms, and kitchen island are from La Perla in Todos Santos, and were handmade to order. It is centered around the cactus you can see through the kitchen window...her name is Mamacita...even though she's probably 50 years old. We love her, and think she is the heart of the home. We hope you enjoy this magical place as much as we do. Hasta Pronto!
