The living space is designed for comfort and convenience, with a newly renovated kitchen, a cozy dining room, and an enclosed patio that can double as a guest bedroom during warmer months. The kitchen has brand-new stainless steel electric appliances, including a range/oven, dishwasher, microwave, and refrigerator. You'll find two comfortable bedrooms and a full bath. We offer high-speed internet and a dedicated desk space for those working remotely to ensure you stay connected.

Clean space, had all the essentials! We were visiting family, and everyone kept mentioning the neighborhood, but I felt like the house was very safe, and I appreciated the extra locks! Rooms were clean, good amount of space.

Chicago stay

My family and I stayed here for four days and we had a great experience. Everything was as advertised and we ran into no issues while we were here.The host was very responsive and replied shortly when contacted and gave very good instructions for everything like check in and out which will be necessary.The neighborhood was only about 20 mins from downtown and parking in front of the unit was hit or miss but mostly hit considering how busy the street was. I would definitely stay again. 5/5 stars!

Would definitely stay here again!

Dr. Ra is such an amazing host! He checked in to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The neighbors were super friendly too. The place was clean and spacious. This was a perfect little getaway, and was like a home away from home.

Simple, clean and cozy

My two best friends and I stayed here for 3 nights we could watch the Cubs and Sox games. The pictures were accurate and the place was clean. The host was easy to reach and responded quickly to any questions we had. There is a bus a 5 minute walk that takes you directly to the Navy Pier in about 40 mins. The house was on a residential street but the outskirts is in a bit of a “rougher” neighbourhood so if you are not from an urban city it might be a bit of a shock. Being from Toronto, this was not an issue for us. I would definitely come back here.

Great place to stay

The host communicated clearly, and we were comfortable. The neighborhood felt a little bit rough, but we were completely safe, and so was the car we left parked on the street while we took the train downtown.

Clean apartment!!

Definitely a clean apartment! Was a little concerned about the neighborhood but we enjoyed our stay for sure! Only complaint which is pretty minor is that when we first came in, the apartment smelled very strongly of bleach and it was very overwhelming! Would stay again!

Weekend back to Chicago

Dr. Ra was great, quick response and he is a very nice and interesting person. Two bus stops near by. Go see Joaquin's front yard/garden! Quiet, clean, great front porch to enjoy the weather and have coffee!

A great place for a great vacation

Dr. Ra was great with communication. The property was neat and clean. The beds were great. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Dr. Ra also allowed us to do a late check-out, so we wouldn't have to wander around Chicago with nothing to do until our train left. I would definitely try to stay here again if I ever return to Chicago again.

Nice stay

Overall it was a nice stay. Dr Ray was very attentive during our stay and even let us check in early. Had no issues finding parking near by. The neighborhood was ok , I had no issues during our stay. It would take us around 25 min to reach downtown Chicago where all the attractions are. It is an affordable decent place to stay. I did not like having to go through 3 different keys/locks to go in and out of property.

Perfect for our weekend in Chicago!

This house was perfect for our long weekend in Chicago. It was super close to public transportation, and we easily found street parking too, so it was easy to get around no matter how we decided to travel. The area was pretty active during the day but so quiet at night. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed! And the host was always available for anything we needed while we were there! Communication with him was super easy!

Disgusting place

Where do I even start! This place was absolutely disgusting the minute we walked in the door , nothing had been cleaned, floors were so dirty with food crumbs, hair from previous people who stayed and food knows what else

First time in Chicago

The property was nice and clean. The landlord was pleasant. Would have liked to know that landlord lived upstairs and that there were so many keys and gates/doors to get into the property/home. Neighborhood was quiet but there was not any parking close to the home. Would have been nice to know the parking situation for better planning.

Pleasant stay, great communication

My 2 coworkers and I had a nice stay with Dr. Ra. He was very communicative and let us drop off our bags before our check in time. He also provided us with additional sheets and blankets when we asked. I liked how there were multiple keys and locks for security. The neighborhood was pretty quiet. I wish it would've been a little bit cleaner, especially the floors and living room rug and I noticed there was a bit of crusty stuff on the TV remote control. The air conditioning was great. Overall a great place for the price and felt well taken care of. Thanks Dr. Ra!

First VRBO stay.

This was my first VRBO stay. Ive done the other one before. I will be doing this again. Dr. Ra is a very accommodating host. When it rained, he asked me how many umbrellas I needed. I said 4, and he had 4! Wild. Also, he knew whe. The trash was full. Kind gentleman with intuitive hosting skills.

Violet neighborhood

We were extremely disapointed, although our hosr was a gentleman. No one slept the night we got there, we left the next day as soon as we were able, notifing the host. We were afraid for our lives! The apartment was in distress as well, in many areas, unclean and had very stcky floors.Would like a refund

Awful Location

NOT a family friendly neighborhood, NO ON SITE PARKING. Booked to take my 7yr old a P!NK concert and was told this would be a great spot for a family. Had to park 2 blocks away. While unloading, 3 people were walking down street looking in car windows, multiple people asked us to give them our belonging and making comments to my daughter. When the host was contacted about this, he completely disregarded my feelings and my concerns about the safety of my 7yr old. We didn't even check in, we booked a hotel asap. Host REFUSED to refund any money including "cleaning" fee for a service that was NEVER rendered. Highly disappointed.

Nice 2 bedrooms with attentive host

Our stay is very comfortable. We got a whole 1st floor, private to ourselves. The room was remodeled, with enough necessities. TVs has Roku, come with Netflix. At this price range there is nothing to complaint even though the house is a bit old. We think host can improve by asking their cleaner to mob the floor better, its very dusty and switch to newer comforter. Host is very attentive and thoughtful. We came during the storm and he gave us 2 umbrella. Each room has 2 set of bath towels. Bathroom is clean, bed is clean, AC run cold. Parking on the street is first come first serve, this street is pack alll the time so you better park at the closest cross street then walk to the house. Take roughly 20-25m to reach downtown. We will stay again if comeback to Chicago.
