Charming Basement in Great Location

This basement apartment is incredibly comfortable and clean. Perfect for a weekend getaway as it’s conveniently located to easily access many things to do in the city.

A lovely place

This place was wonderful and centrally located near many shops and only a short drive to the Metro. I traveled with my family of 4 and there was plenty of space to stretch out than a hotel has to offer.

Best stay ever

A beautiful, clean, and amazingly decorated apartment. It was spacious and very comfortable. Furthermore, the host is a really nice guy! What else can one ask for in a stay?

We enjoyed our stay

The property was accurately described including the "bar area" although we were fooled into thinking there would be a functioning kitchen and windows in the bedrooms. Despite this, we enjoyed our stay.

Convenient location and plenty of space

As listed, very spacious and has one king size bed and another queen sized bed. Of note, there is not stove in this apartment. Owner is helpful and responsive! Enjoyed my stay!

Didn't really interact with host. Walk way was snow and ice filled. No cooking allowed. Basement itself is really nice.

This place was great. Very big, well-decorated and beds were comfortable. It was very clean. We had parking on the property. The owners had a party the first night we were there but they moved a car to make sure we had parking and they wrapped it up by about 10:30 so no late-night noise at all. The hosts were super-responsive. My only complaint was that it smells like mothballs in there. Other than that, it was great. It’s about 10 minutes from Dulles and about 30 minutes to the good stuff in DC. There are lots of great restaurants around there. I would DEFINITELY go back and highly recommend.

Great place for dulles chantilly area.

Clean property, comfortable beds, easy check in. Off street parking. Close to restaurants, dulles airport and space museum. Would stay here again. Minimal kitchen, small fridge and kuerig coffee maker were great. Not a place to do much cooking. We used our crock pot and it worked out. Hosts were great with communication. Good value!

Solid Choice!

Property was beautifully appointed. Great space especially if you plan to explore the area and need a space larger than a hotel room to stay and don't need use of a full kitchen. The basement space had a microwave and small fridge and adequate dishes, cups and flatware, but lacked prep tools (knife, cutting board, microwavable bowls, can opener) and toaster or toaster oven. Being in a basement, expect noise from occupants above.

The place was very open and clean. It was definitely better than staying in a cramped hotel. We had our own space and were close to everything. No major issues. There was some roof work being done on the main house and our parking spaces were taken up on more than one occasion but was swiftly resolved. There was no temperature control for the space we were in but when we reached out to the owner, they made the adjustments very quickly. Response time from the owner was wonderful. There was some noise from the main house, but nothing more than living in an apartment on the bottom floor. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay again.

Nice place - great location

Only thing I wished I had paid attention to was the TV and Towels. To watch TV, you need to log into your own service (streaming/ISP based). Not the end of the world. You also get supplied with 1 towel per person staying so we used the same towel each (4 people) for 5 days. Again, not the end of the world. We noticed they didn't have a toaster, so we bought one and left it for future guests.

Very clean, conveniently located

We had a pleasant stay at this basement apartment. There are stairs down to the entrance, and those were not an issue for anyone in our party. It was very clean and the host responded quickly on the few occasions when we contacted him (such as to change the thermostat). The location is convenient to main roads in the area, and in a safe and quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the large dining table and the limited kitchen (no stove) was absolutely workable for our 5-day stay. The sink, refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle and coffee maker were all we needed. There is a nearby Wegman's grocery store that had many prepared dishes that we could heat in the microwave. There are also many restaurants in the area. We were aware that there are people living upstairs, but there was generally little noise from them, and nights were super quiet. It was a very enjoyable stay!

This is a wonderful apartment in a lovely location. As a single traveller I was impressed with how safe the area felt. The apartment was very clean and exactly as described.Communication with the owner was first class.If you are looking to stay in the Chantilly area this is a place I would highly recommend.
