Loon Beach is a Lake House on a quiet dead end road with private lake front

We invite you to leave the chaotic pace and enjoy peace of our vacation home on beautiful Lake Champlain. 60+ feet of private beach accent this 1/4-acre treed lot. Sunrises and sunsets accent the views across the lake as you listen for the call of the Loon amidst the cries of other migrating waterfowl.
This home is supplied with a shared dock, a canoe, kayaks and paddles with life jackets for most sizes from infant to 3XL adult. Yard games and sand toys are also available
The grassy yard is equipped with Adirondack Chairs and a fire pit ready for hot dogs and marshmallows. Wood is also available.
The house has two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, an open kitchen area with extensive counter space, and a very large living room with ample seating in front of bay windows providing views of the lake. Out the front door is a large deck with patio furniture and a grill for outdoor meals.
For those hot muggy days, the living room has air conditioners and ceiling fans. Early mornings? The kitchen is equipped with dishes, a Keurig in addition to a microwave, air fryer, range and refrigerator. Washer and dryer are also available.
In addition to the bedrooms, there is a queen size sofa bed in the living room and inflatable mattress for additional sleeping arrangements.
House is located 5 miles to the city center for shopping convenience or evening entertainment. 2 miles to movie theater and bowling ally, convenience store and gas station. Don't feel like shopping? Home is within delivery zones with easy access to Instacart, Door Dash etc.
All you need to bring is you and your loved ones to enjoy this truly special place.

Our stay was amazing! We loved the house! Everything about it is cozy, comfortable and welcoming. Our gracious hosts, Don and Donna stocked the house with everything a guest might need. And the location? To die for. The most beautiful view. We were sad when we had to leave. We can't wait to come back!

I took my 85 yr old mom my daughter and her girlfriend for the weekend.The house was nicer than the pics showed.The view was amazing and calming.We went to Hobies and Arnies to eat Arnie's is a must if you like yummy italin ,amazing food.Sat we went to Ausable Chasm that also was fun my 85 yr old mom went in the tubes with us .Each night we had a fire outback and Don and Donna had wood there which was nice .It was a short drive to anyplace.We will be back again it was very enjoyable. We had a few laughs fri night we went to play pitch but not enough cards in either deck do we took 2 decks and made it work it was funny. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful place

Amazing view

We had an amazing stay, the house was clean, well stocked, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a week on the lake. It was close enough to stores but still secluded. Would definitely stay again!

We had a great time at this lakefront property! Communication with both Don and Donna was excellent, the house was clean, the location was perfect for our purposes (a surprise mini-reunion for someone visiting nearby), etc. We loved everything - thanks!

Our Second Stay... Can't Wait for Another!

We love this lake cottage. The neighbors are wonderful, the owners are attentive, and they have everything you need onsite for a wonderful visit. Kayaks, canoes, paddles, water safety gear and beach toys too! It's peaceful, beautiful, and perfect for our family of three. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Stay

Nice house on the lake in a very quite, peaceful neighborhood. The large windows in the dinning and living room showcase the lake. It was a wonderful view and stay, the host was very quick to reply to question before and during our stay. We would stay here again.

Me and my husband spent an amazing week there The house is so cute, very clean and equipped with everything you can need. House on the bay

This was a wonderful place to stay with beautiful sunsets. We had a quiet relaxing long weekend. The owner was great to communicate with. I would recommend this stay to everyone. I hope to return some time in the future.

Lovely

We chose Loon Lake for our weekend in Plattsburgh primarily because it was close to our family reunion. Loon Lake offered us much more than convenience. The kitchen is well-stocked with coffee, utensils, pots and pans, and all manner of dishware and silverware. We availed ourselves of the dryer, sofa bed, beach towels, swimming (bring water shoes!), the canoe and life jackets. We would book again in a heartbeat. Perfect for our group and our laid-back vibe. We felt very at home in this place.

ON THE LAKE

Our stay was great...some windy days,that's mother nature. Cabin in nice location,facing north. Don was very timely about answering any questions we had during our stay. He reached out to check on us half way thru our stay,nice. Got to meet Don,unplanned,its good to have a face with words......Don-thx for all.
