En av de finaste Sonoma Vacation Rentals och Sonoma Luxury Rentals och Vacation Homes. Sonoma Vacation Rental i månens dal inklusive ett stort 6 500 kvadratmeter mitten av århundradet moderna hem som byggdes längs sidan historiska 1898 Spreckels Estate tennisbana. Spa-känslan ... de 7 sovrummen och badrummen: Medan hemmet inomhus gemensamma områden liknar ett land herrgård eller hyra sovrummen och badrummen är mycket moderna och känns som ett spa. Var och en av de 7 sovrummen är färgkoordinerad i mjukt ljus och mörka taupes och har kvalitetskvalitet organiska sängkläder, våfflor-kläder, handdukar och täcken från Coyuchi. Alla rum har anpassade valnöt hyllor, plattskärms-TV med inbyggda DVD-spelare och iPod-kompatibla klockförstärkare. Var och en av badrummen är innesluten i seagreen kalksten och installeras med europeiska Lacava counter-topp sänkor, anpassade teak hyllor och hårdvara från Purist Collection. Och även om våra andra badrum har porslinbadkar är masterbadet en speciell och privat spa-upplevelse med ett "Tea for Two" bubbelbadkar, dubbelhängd stalldusch och separera hans och hennes uppacknings- och omklädningsområden. Wonderful experience!

The house is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. So much space, extra fun (like pool table and piano, fireplaces, all ball games and lots of tennis racquets available etc) a lot of bathrooms, everything you need in terms of towels and other amenities! The sun never hits the pool fully which our sunbathing friends should probably know about, however it's perfect for hot weather and chilling in the shade. Olivia and Sufia were both lovely and easy to communicate with. Can only highly recommend a stay there and will definitely come back!

Family Reunion

We had a family reunion with families from across the country; Alaska, Maine, Texas, California, New Mexico and Washington state. The Sobre Vista house was the perfect venue for the family gatherings. With the pool, tennis court, and outdoor patios, there was room for everyone to relax and enjoy the beautiful Sonoma Valley. The house was well appointed and the bedrooms were very quiet and comfortable. Everyone had a great time and we would definitely consider going back.

Wonderful grounds, spacious house, perfect for big family get-together

We had our kids with spouses and their little ones and had a wonderful time. The outdoor area has a gigantic yard and a couple of decks, with gorgeous old trees as well as lots of sunny areas. We spent most of the time in the pool, but also played croquet, frisbee and explored the yard with the kids. There are many different indoor spaces, so lots of options for being in smaller or larger groups for visiting or doing things together -- such as billiards, ping pong, television, games. The locations is great. This is really a perfect place for a group like ours. And the caretaker, Sufia, was very helpful.

Beautiful property and home

We recently stayed at this beautiful property for a bachelorette party in wine country. The sprawling home and serene property were the ideal way to spend a weekend in Sonoma/Napa. Sufia, the house manager, was very flexible and easy to get in contact with. The house did disappoint with enough accommodations and space for a large group. We were able to easily access Napa and Sonoma and unwind in the heated pool at night. Overall great experience!!

Outstanding place for my active family. The only drawback was the kitchen ovens, they need two racks not just one each. We came and for four days did not have to leave the property!!! All ages had a good time and we will do it again next year.

WONDERFUL

Amazing weekend. Olivia, the owner, was quick to respond and very easy to deal with. Sufia, the property manager, went the extra mile - ensuring everything went smoothly. Had answers to all my questions and checked in to make sure all was well (which it was!!). We asked for the pool to be heated and it was super warm! Have stayed here twice now and fully intend to find time to go for a third stay! Highly recommended!!

Not quite what was expected...

Checking in: We were lucky we had dinner reservations to run to because we would not of been able to stay in the house. The house was so cold and made our first impression not good. The front of the house does not look desirable and the pictures should show what the front of the house looks like rather than the fancy gate, as it's a little misleading. The house is run down and needs some major work. I would make sure guests know this. It is a great family house for events, but if you are staying there for a week the house is not ideal - such as old furniture (chair stuffing is old and very uncomfortable). The pool table, ping pong and tennis courts are awesome however. We also had issues with the master bathroom shower fixture falling off when we used the shower and then another problem with the other shower we tried to use. I'm not sure if there's a property manager that is checking on how things are working/repairs on a regular basis between guest stays?

Great home, terrific yard for a big group

We had 14 people and worried that we would be comfortable... forget that concern! This place has 7 fine bedrooms and lots and lots of bathrooms. also has fireplaces from The Game of Thrones. And then walk outside. We played tennis, bocci, horseshoes and swam every day... and it was winter! The kitchen has everything you need , except we could not find place mats. They are very strict on music but that was not a problem for us at all. And lastly the driveway had parking for plenty of vehicles . we would go back.

Wonderful for large group with kids

Our group, which rents a house every year for Memorial Day weekend, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One great thing about it is that the bedrooms (save the Master, which is bigger and has a larger bathroom) are all roughly the same size with the same features, so nobody gets stuck in a "bad" room which is so often the case with large groups. We had several toddlers/small children in the group, but the house is so large and the common areas so varied that we never felt crammed while indoors. Of course we spent most of the time enjoying the porch, pool, and tennis courts, and we loved that there was a gate between porch and pool if we wanted to keep the little ones from having access. There are several great wineries just a few minutes away, and getting groceries is a snap. And to top if off, it's much closer to San Francisco or Oakland than most houses of this size in Sonoma or Napa counties. Oh, and I should mention that Sufia--the on-site contact--is great and made things super easy. This was one of our favorite Memorial Day houses ever and I highly recommend it!

Way better than the pictures show...

Sobre Vista Resort was the place for my wife's birthday party last week. Best friends arrived from around the country and all were impressed by the grounds and the home in general. Frankly, the pictures do not do the property justice. The home is a large U shape, with bedrooms and bathrooms on the uprights and the kitchen, dining rooms, billiard room, sitting room and so forth in the connector. The common areas are left as they were a half century ago. The fireplace is enormous and a great place in winter to gather and talk over wine. We used the area between the billiard room and kitchen for wine tastings - a great place to do this given the fantastic view. The bedrooms are all modern with extremely comfortable "European feel" mattresses. The kitchen has a Sub Zero refrigerator, two dishwashers, and a gas stove that impressed even my wife who is a chef. The grounds are very nicely kept, and lemon and grapefruit trees provided fresh juice for us. Look: I have several ocean front rentals on the outer banks of NC and know this business... the owners spared no expense and details on this home. You will love it.

Great for large gatherings

We rented this house for a large family gathering over Labor Day weekend. We were 14 all together. The house is so spacious we never felt crowded. The kitchen has everything you could need, and the bedrooms and bathrooms have been remodeled and are very comfortable. My only complaint is that the house needs a little TLC and one inside bathroom did not have a functioning exhaust fan. The grounds are beautiful, and we happily stayed on the property talking, swimming, playing tennis and BBQ. Plus the owner Olivia and manager Sufia were very nice and helpful. They readily agreed to a late check up :) I will highly recommend this property!

Peace & Quiet

Enjoyed property, it was spacious to entertain many of us without feels crowded. Bedrooms were great and kitchen was well stocked with just about everything you needed. Inside and outside dining was plentiful. Outside grounds was well groomed, pool, tennis court and hot tub are a must try in a quiet backyard. Home is located in a great location to start your daily travels in Sonoma and Napa wine country. We also utilized several area parks for hiking trails.

Wonderful House

We have rented this house for a week every August for 4 years. It works wonderfully for our family, ranging in age from 6 to 85 years old. Plenty of space, beautiful grounds with pool and tennis court and jacuzzi, and the house itself is very well appointed with comfortable beds, linens and plenty of towels. I highly recommend the house for big family gatherings or groups where you both want to be together but also want to have space to be alone. Both the owner and the property manager (Sufia) are friendly and very helpful.

4 nights was not enough. What a great place.

Sobre Vista is really easy to find. Sufia, the property manager, was there to greet us and show us around. Sonoma is about 10 min away and has all the stores and restaurants-we found a very good Mexican restaurant called Plaza Tequila on Hwy 12. There were 3 couples, we each had our own wing of the house. The common areas are very well laid out with a piano and a pool table in one area. The kitchen very easily accommodates 3 cooks the outdoor barbecue was clean and well maintained. We spent a lot of time in the pool and Jacuzzi, the tennis court was newly redone-beautiful. There is so much to do on this property and it is also very relaxing. We had fresh picked grapefruit and fresh squeezed blood orange juice for breakfast, and fresh lemon aid in the afternoon (there is a great juicer in the pantry). We played a round of golf in Santa Rosa, nice course very reasonable. Can't wait to go back, maybe for a larger family reunion! Margie Capra, Seattle WA

Beautiful and relaxing estate.

Our family had the best time ! The listing description of the property was right on. The location is perfect for visiting the wine country. We enjoyed so much just staying on site and enjoying the pool, hot tub, tennis court and just the beauty of nature all around us. We had fresh lemons, grapefruit and oranges, what a treat! Great property. Wonderful manager.

The house is very spacious and comfortable. It is perfectly set up for family gatherings. One of best thing about this house is the manager. Her name is Sufia. She is the sweetest person I ever met. She was helpful in all aspects starting with the finding catering companies, expediting communications with the owner of the property. When we came to look at the house, she treated us as her relatives or old friends. She also gave us lots of advice regarding organizing our party. It was a pleasure to deal with her. The only one downside was the neighbor (one in particular) who complained about noise at 4:00 p.m. We got a phone call from security warning us about a potential fine due to a noise complaint.

Fabulous house with all of the amenities!

This was a terrific house for our group. Plenty of room with loads of common space to enjoy. We put the tennis court, the pool and the ping pong table all to really good use. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The owner and the manager were very easy to deal with and accommodating. Kitchen worked great for our group. The only downside we had, as a 40th birthday party, was that we were intent on having a good time. Through no fault of the owner, the neighbors (I would imagine there is one in particular) were adamant about the 10pm curfew, which was fine, we were finishing dinner outside and did not realize the time. We moved indoors and there is plenty of space for it. However we were called by security a second time the next day -- while we were not even at the house -- and accused of being loud again. Security warned their could be a fine. I found this to be a little much. While I would absolutely recommend the place and the owner, I'd caution that if you will have a louder group that you'd need to be aware of the noise issues.

A Dream House!

We went to Sobre Vista for my husband's birthday with four other families. We could not have had a better time. The house was gorgeous - spacious, with a lot of character (we loved "the great room"), comfortable and stocked with everything you could need from extra sheets to games to mattresses. Since we had a bunch of kids, the family room with the pool table, piano and tv came in very handy when we wanted to get some adult time on the other side of the house. The tennis court is gorgeous, and its location right near the pool meant that you could cool off as soon as you were done. Sufia, the property manager, was very helpful and available at any time when we needed her. There is a Safeway and Whole Foods close by in case you need to stock up but other than that, no need to leave the property. The kitchen is a bit dated but has everything you need and 2 dishwashers and coffee machines. We stayed 2 nights and it still wasn't enough to enjoy every nook of the house. Highly recommend it. My only gripe is that it's not available for my birthday coming up! This is my go-to house for groups in Sonoma!

The home was better than described. We had a great time. Very clean. Our only regret was that we didn't realize until the last day that there all kinds of toys in the garage. We would have loved playing croquet on the huge lawn. We be back.

Wow…what an amazing exper...

Wow…what an amazing experience we had staying at the Sobre Vista Estate. We got married in Sonoma, and stayed at the Estate with our wedding party for the weekend. The place is just stunning, inside and out. It is the ideal place for a private, intimate gathering. It is the perfect backdrop for both elegant dinners, and casual poolside barbeques (We did both). There is truly something for everyone to enjoy. Some favorites among our guests and us include: the amply equipped kitchen, the enormous fireplace, the unique artwork, the game room with billiards, the baby grand piano, the cozy couches & flat screen television (perfect for our sports fans!). And that is just inside! There was never a dull moment the entire weekend. We spent our days outside: swimming, relaxing in the Jacuzzi, playing tennis, volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, and my personal favorite; lounging poolside with a tall cool drink in hand. All I can say is the pictures on the website, although beautiful, do not do it justice. The Estate is truly grandiose. It was like staying at our own private resort. We never wanted to leave!In addition, Scott Robertson and his staff helped make our time there the beautiful dream that it was. From the beginning of our interactions with Scott we were so impressed by and thankful for his professionalism, finesse, and attention to detail. He and his staff far exceeded our expectations, as did the Estate. Scott, we cannot thank-you enough! We highly recommend a vacation at the Sobre Vista Estate!

Some favorites among our guests and us include: the amply equipped kitchen, the enormous fireplace, the unique artwork, the game room with billiards, the baby grand piano, the cozy couches & flat screen television (perfect for our sports fans!). And that is just inside! There was never a dull moment the entire weekend. We spent our days outside: swimming, relaxing in the Jacuzzi, playing tennis, volleyball, horseshoes, croquet, and my personal favorite; lounging poolside with a tall cool drink in hand. All I can say is the pictures on the website, although beautiful, do not do it justice. The Estate is truly grandiose. It was like staying at our own private resort. We never wanted to leave!In addition, Scott Robertson and his staff helped make our time there the beautiful dream that it was. From the beginning of our interactions with Scott we were so impressed by and thankful for his professionalism, finesse, and attention to detail. He and his staff far exceeded our expectations, as did the Estate. Scott, we cannot thank-you enough! We highly recommend a vacation at the Sobre Vista Estate!

Wonderful Retreat

We were in Sonoma for our son's wedding in June. After much research, we decided on Sobre Vista for our large group - and it was a GREAT decision! Everything was perfect, and all the facilities were superior. All the amenities were used - swimming pool, tennis courts, horshoe court, outdoor dining areas. It made the whole weekend even more special. Scott, the owner, couldn't have been accommodating. Hopefully, we will be back!

My family (8 adults; 6 kids) stayed here over Christmas 2009 it was perfect! The house, grounds and furnishings are absolutely astounding! Truly one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Scott (the owner) is very accomodating and professional -- much appreciated and we will be back in Summer 2010!

Our twelve day stay at So...

Our twelve day stay at Sobre Vista Estate was phenomenal!!! Our daughters wedding became a four day extravaganza because of the estate. The rooms and linens made sleeping a delight with the cool night air and the warm down comforters. Because of the interior size, we never felt crowded although we had all seven bed rooms filled. We used all the outdoor facilities, tennis, volley ball horse shoes, croquet, swimming pool and hot tub. And at night the indoor pool table and ping pong room. The gourmet kitchen provided our family cooks plenty of opportunity to display their expertise.We had deer in the front yard in the morning which gave us a real feeling of nature. Scott and Sufia, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and addressed any and all our out of town concerns. We have stayed at many private home vacation rentals, but by far this was the best ever. Thanks again Scott and Sufia for making our wedding/vacation more memorable
