Vackert hus vid stranden med panoramautsikt över havet och privat strandpromenad, belägen på Isle of Palms. Detta södra hem ligger under gamla ekar och är dekorerat med glada strandfärger och Charleston-baserad konst. Köket har en liten frukostbar med bänkskiva i granit. Matbordet har plats för 8 och är öppet mot vardagsrummet. Vardagsrummet är öppet med platt-TV och gott om sittplatser för alla. Stigande ut på skärmen verandan finns gungstolar och utomhus matbord med hängmatta.
På tredje våningen finns en master svit med ett rymligt sovrum med privat soldäck, eget badrum med stor jacuzzi. Backyard erbjuder fantastiskt grönt utrymme för familjespel. Fastigheten har en underbar privat strandpromenad fr��n trädgården genom sanddynerna som ger direkt tillgång till stranden. Denna fastighet erbjuder en gasgrill belägen under huset (propantankar kan bytas ut på vårt kontor under ordinarie öppettider), WiFi och sängkläder ingår. Ingen rökning eller husdjur snälla. Öppen spis är inte för gästbruk.

Old school comfort

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed this homey beach cottage. While obviously an older home, we were perfectly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped, the view is wonderful, and the layout is great. It was a little musty on arrival, but it did not bother me (I’m very sensitive). I was worried the beach access would affect privacy, but it was not heavily used or noticeable (July stay). The beach area is a “sweet spot” in terms of crowds. A maintenance issue (caused by our kids) was dealt with easily. All in all, a perfect family place! There are some flying insects that need dealing with (cleaning crew should vacuum behind furniture), but nothing that would prevent me from staying here again.Kudos to the lawn crew who did not come early and made quick work of the massive lawn and did not use leaf blowers excessively!

The best yard on the block!

The back yard was like a football field and the house had so much room, especially the magnificent upstairs master suite with tub. Just wished we'd made time to use it!

As pictured, good value for the location

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house has everything you need. While it's an older home, it's on the beach, which is really all that matters to us! Perfect for a family with kids, although the true master is on the upper floor away from the other three bedrooms, which is something to keep in mind. While there are plenty of linens, there are no beach towels, so you either need to bring or buy on arrival. Isle of Palms is awesome, and we would definitely stay at this house again!

Father's Day Retreat

Excellent rental stay

The home was clean with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable linens.Our one negative experience was a coyote attack when walking the dog! This animal was relentless charging at my niece and her dog and only succeeded reaching them by me screaming and charging back. Very Scary! A tragedy averted, thankfully!

A pleasant stay

A definite problem was that the air conditioning was not fully functioning. The technicians indicated that the unit was on its last legs and was in need of being replaced.

3rd annual stay isn’t this property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have rented this home for 3 years in a row. We love the location, that the home is on the beach and surrounded by trees, the giant screened in porch with hammock and table/chairs for enjoying meals outside, and the paved space under the house for our kids to play. However — the home is in definite need of some upgrades and maintenance. The shower in the guest room behind the stairs had mold in it for the 2nd year in a row, and the toilet in the bathroom btn the two twin bedrooms ran constantly. The last night, the large tub upstairs started leaking through the ceiling and dripping into the dining room - even though the tub was barely filling up. This also happened last year on our last night. In addition, there is no longer a working light over the kitchen sink, making it difficult to see when washing dishes - and it just makes the kitchen seem dark and dingy when working at those counter tops. We will likely choose another property next year, which I hate, because the location/yard/outside spaces at the home are lovely!

Comfortable Place to Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We liked having a large yard to play games in our own privacy, and the young children could run around and we didn't have to worry about disturbing other people. It was a very short,easy walk to the beach. We loved the master bedroom - while lying in bed (which is very comfortable) we could see the waves crashing into the sand, but could not see the people on the beach. The screened in porch is wonderful along with the hammock! There are holes in some of the screens which allows the geckos in. The house and furnishings are great and is very well stocked with dishes and utensils. The decks are in need of some maintenance as several of us suffered splinters in our hands and feet. The bedrooms with the twin beds do not have vents for the AC which can make it uncomfortable if you keep the doors closed at night, but they do have ceiling fans which help. Overall we enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

"Tree House" Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that we rented this charming home and would do so again. We recommended it to a family member who will also be renting the house. It is charming, comfortable, convenient, clean, and quiet. The house and grounds are well maintained with several small exceptions. The mattress in the upstairs master bedroom should be is high grade and comfortable but through wear tends to roll the occupants toward the center of the bed. The cowrod units in the gas stove are very uneven which makes cooking somewhat difficult and potentially dangerous. The large cooking utensils are plastic and flaccid which also lends itself to potential danger. The cooking utensils were better the last time that we stayed in the house but I can just imagine that they disappeared over time. That said, we loved the experience of staying so close to the beach in such a beautiful home.

Long weekend at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful house in great condition and great location. It is stocked well with all basic necessities and the kitchen is well equipped and organized. It was very clean throughout. The screened in porch is awesome and has great views of the beach. It was very relaxing on the rocking chairs and hammock! We were a family of 7 adults and 1 child and we were very comfortable. We had a great time and would rent again. The only caveat to consider is that although it is beachfront, it did not have direct beach access. We were there on beautiful mostly sunny days but it had rained in the days before and the backyard had enormous puddle/swamp that could not be walked on to reach the beach. Even if we could have walked through the yard, it was not clear where we could walk through to reach the beach. There was a public beach access path just two doors down which was convenient, but it also had a swamp that had to be walked through. It was doable but not a pleasant walk. The only beach access that didn't have a swamp was a few blocks down which could involve driving and sort of defeats the purpose of being on a beach front property. Just something to consider, but it did not define our stay. We enjoyed the property.
