Cleanliness was the highlight. The entry to the property has narrow with creaky staircase, floors were creaky throughout. Extension cords and power strips were trip hazards and we wondered about electrical outlets being overloaded. Communications with host were hit and miss. In general, not our cup of tea.

This property is clean and cute. The management was very responsive to questions and concerns. The directions to use the key pad entry didn’t say to press the check button, they only gave the number code. The stair way to the condo are narrow and steep. So be prepared for oro that when carrying things up and down.

Best place to see Elk… off the balcony of this condo! Well stocked, easy walk to town! Loved everything about this place! Highly recommend!

Amazing!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay! It was clean, cute, and had everything we needed. The view was so beautiful and it was a short walk to downtown. We loved it and are so grateful for our time here!

Great location just outside busy tourist areas but close enough to walk. Minor issues that need attention and current photos would be helpful. Outside noise from river makes it hard to keep door open for a breeze and still be able to talk or watch TV.Large deck with river view, saw many elk walking by. Would have been nice to have some comfy furniture out there. No BBQ as listed.Plenty of parking. Wifi was solid.

Great place to stay. Close to downtown Estes. Amazing views of wildlife. In the morning hours we saw 3 elks (mama elk and 2 younger elks) and a hummingbird from the deck. Calm and serene place to stay!

Great location

The condo was a perfect fit for out visit to Estes Park and RMNP. It’s a great location close to downtown with ready access to all the east park entrances and trailheads. It was very clean and had all the essentials. We’ll definitely come back to Estes and would absolutely stay here again.

Great place for a fall break! Our trip happened to be aligned with Elk mating season and the Elk were everywhere! Including the grassy area right off the back porch! Fun retro vibe decor, and has everything needed. Just a 20 minute drive to RMNP entrance (free to park if you arrive before 5 am)

Economic Get Away

The condo was clean, tastefully decorated with a good floor plan. The only thing I would change is the sofa position. It was great to be able to walk to downtown Estes! The river was therapeutic to watch and the male elk and family of mule deer that visited the back yard was an added bonus!

The condo was pretty nice - but the listing on VRBO was misleading (or was for a different unit). It showed pretty flowers and a nice table and chairs on the patio. There was NOTHING on the patio except 2 chairs with dirty cushions and an even dirtier table. The shower faucets are very old and need to be replaced. They don't work and it won't change the water flow from the shower to the tub. The river being very close was nice - but you can't hear anything else when on the patio. There should probably be a note describing the extremely narrow staircase to get to the second floor. This unit might not be suitable for an older couple.

Location was great. Really enjoyed the walk into town. Surrounding area was quiet and peaceful. Our only problem was the bed. Thought that we were getting a king but it was a queen size bed. Probably an oversight on our part however we found the bed to be uncomfortable. One side rolled to the middle and I ended up sleeping on the couch the entire week. Other than that the stay was great. Would definitely stay again if the bed had a bew mattress.

The only unacceptable thing was the mattress. Both of us sank to the middle. One of us ended up on the uncomfortable couch.The fireplace was not gas and only some kindling was provided.

Priced right

We definitely enjoyed our stay. The surroundings weren’t great (construction area), other than being right by the Fall River. An elk herd came right through the property, so that was cool! The outside of the condo building was a little rough, but the condo itself was clean and comfortable - a bit of a retro feel to it. It was also an easy walk to town, which was great. For us, the only thing it didn’t have that we needed was a cooler.

Quaint Condo

The condo was a perfect size for 2. The walk to town was tricky without sidewalks. The bed was comfortable but extra pillows would be nice. The shower liner was moldy and the water was luke warm. However, the deck and view were lovely.

Great location

Our stay at the Woodland Getaway was quiet and a welcome respite to the crowds downtown. Close enough for walking, yet removed from the hustle, the only noise was the rushing River outside. The view from the deck was picturesque and the condo cozy and well furnished. I had to work remotely the week we were there and the adjustable height desk, great wifi connection and comfortable desk chair made this very manageable. The condo was well stocked with needed items and property management quickly responsive. I would recommend this location and property to others. The only caveat was the ongoing construction/renovation of nearby structures, however, there was no view of this except in the parking area and the parking was never an issue.

Very Nice Place But No Working Internet

This is a beautiful, well furnished place with a nice view of a river. It does have a set of steep narrow stairs to get to it. I would give it a four, but the internet did not work and the management company did not fix it during our stay. Phone reception was one bar, so this was a very serious problem for me.

Good

I had a good stay at this property! The location was fantastic, and the apartment was clean and well-maintained. However, I would have appreciated a few more amenities, as there were no spoons or forks, and the coffee and sugar ran out at the first use, making it difficult to enjoy a morning coffee. The communication from the property management was excellent, though I found the check-in process a bit confusing at first. A quick phone call clarified that I needed to pick up the keys at the office, but I would have liked this information to be included in the check-in details.
