Bourbon Country Escape - Cabin in the heart of the bourbon trail

A cozy cabin within a few miles of several distilleries, downtown Bardstown, and many other local attractions. The cabin sits on 1 acre and is pretty secluded. Surrounded by mostly farmland, it’s the perfect spot to sit on the front or back porch and enjoy the scenery while you have your morning coffee, an evening BBQ, playing a few of the games we provide, or a fire at the firepit. There is seating on both porches and at the firepit. The cabin is equipped with all of the amenities to ensure an enjoyable stay. We are handicap accessible. The Bedroom has a large closet with extra linens, pillows, iron and plenty of space to store your attire for your visit. There is a washer and dryer if you need or want to clean your clothes during your visit.

The cabin is also 7 miles from downtown Bardstown where most of the local eateries and shops are located. E provide a list upon booking so you can make reservations at any desired locations. Weekend getaway

We absolutely loved this property and home. We were welcomed with the fresh scent of pine and the beauty of the cabin. The home was clean, organized and had everything we needed. It was also the perfect location if you are visiting the local distilleries on the bourbon trail.

Nice cabin, well equipped, and in a quiet location. Good proximity to Bardstown as well as central to New Haven and Loretto, so pretty easy to hit all the distilleries and attractions. Would stay again

Great cabin

Great little cabin. It was very clean and just perfect for us. It was nice to come back to after being out for the day. It was close enough to Bardstown but far enough away to not be in a congested area. We do recommend Mammy’s Kitchen and the distilleries as well

Perfect home base for a bourbon trip

Heavenly! While the weather prevented us from enjoying a fire, our staybwas wonderful! This is simply a perfect setup for a couple. Minutes from the distilleries and very private. You feel like youre in the country, and it is very relaxing. Laundry was very helpful and the i door electric fireplace added to tue ambience. Highly recommend

Nice, clean and private cabin on the outskirts of Bardstown. Lots of place to explore and things to do. The hosts were very responsive throughout the rental process. Would recommend this place to any couple wanting to get away for a few days or longer.

Perfect and Comfortable

We had an adult weekend with plans to see a concert. The home was perfect for us and had all the amenities to ensure we were comfortable. Little touches really made us feel welcome and the outdoor spaces were a plus. In addition to being well decorated and tranquil, the home was located near many local attractions while giving us privacy and peace and quiet.

Great little property close enough to what you need to get to and far enough away to also enjoy some space and privacy. The cabin was super cute, very clean, and very new. Owners were great communicators. Great little place to stay.

Great get-away for our Anniversary Weekend!

Enjoyed a peaceful and restful stay at the cabin. The cabin had everything that was needed plus little extras of snacks, front porch swing, firepit, washer and dryer and fireplace. We loved it and intend to visit again. It is a beautiful cabin for a wonderful price. Highly recommend it.

Memorial Day Stay

Excellent stay. Quiet area. Not too far from restaurants and attractions. Stay was private and not interrupted by host or visitors checking up on us. There was keyless entry. Host was available by phone/text if we needed him. Check-in time was confusing. Website had 4:00 on some places and 3 in other areas. But 3:00 Est was the right time. Time zone was not mentioned in advertisement. No central heat/air but there was air units. Kept the place cool in our May visit. There was curtains over all windows except the bathroom. It had a frosted window with a curtain rod, but no curtain there. There was a sofa hideaway mattress. Cabin was wheelchair accessible including the bathroom with walk-in shower, floor level. Very clean. Found no dust anywhere. Beautiful woodwork. There was a stackable washer/dryer and a hairdryer in the bathroom cabinet. Not many towels as we had to wash a load in our 2 day stay.

Beautiful

Loved the home! Yard wasn’t mowed, but there was a good reason. Washed towels night before we left and while running, toilet started gurgling. Air in bedroom and hallway were great but living room was warm. Overall good experience though!

Bourbon tour and Anniversary

We were blown away on the cabin and location, this place had everything we wanted and the owners went the extra step to leave snacks and even firewood for the pit out back. We even had a charcoal grill charcoal and lighter fluid to make dinner. This place was only 5 miles or less from several distilleries and others like Makers mark about 15 miles away. We are already planning another trip back and have shared the cabin info with friends where I work.
