Perfect Family Getaway!!!

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, comfortable, very well stocked with everything we needed. Check in was super easy. The views stunning, the community was clean, welcoming. Even our little pup felt right at home. Absolutely no complaints. We will be back! Vacasa made this a super easy, wonderful experience!!

Great location & getaway

Amazing location for this property. The neighborhood is fairly new and feels extremely safe. The house is right by the pool and beach access. We have already looking at rebooking!

Perfect Family Time!!

Perfect Family getaway! The house, the view, the location, you named it…..it has been a wonderful experience. Very clean, well organized property. The community and the pool is stunning. Everything is dog friendly (including local restaurants/stores/beaches) Everyone was super nice. Small town, locally owned restaurants. We couldn’t have asked for a better time. We will definitely be back!!

View from back pario was the ocean and incredible sunsets. Just me and my spouse, but perfect for a family. Steps to a beautiful and clean pool. Would definitely book again!

Great but somewhat misleading

Overall the house was great! The location & neighborhood were wonderful, the view of the ocean & proximity to the beach was amazing. The house was very well taken care of & clean. The listing is a bit misleading with pictures of 2 different pools, we had booked this house mainly for the walk in pool in the picture for our younger kids due to them still learning to swim but that pool is not an option with this house. There is one community pool with the shallow end of 3ft with steps only, we were provided a pool code upon check-in & later found out the pool does not need a code so it was all a bit confusing. We also had difficulty getting the dryer button to work & reached out for someone to look at it & were told they were contacting someone to look at it ASAP & never heard back for the rest of the 5 days. Overall the property & location 10/10, communication could use a little work! We did luck out & did not have to share with anyone in the mother in law suite. I would recommend & stay again regardless of the few issues once we can utilize a non-walk in pool someday!

Great Stay Away From Home

The property was in new condition with great decor and everything you need for a stress free time away. My wife and I enjoyed the week and the short walk to the beach, which we had to ourselves each day. We are looking forward to returning again some day.

Amazing stay

Everything and shopping is only 3 miles away in both directions. Friendly people, huge swimming pool, no Karen's to bother you, most of all very very pet friendly. Totally worth the price we paid and some. ****** our host was amazing and fun to talk with.

Almost new! Perfect amount of room!

There were 2sets of bunk beds a queen and a king bed we loved how close the beach was was a block down the street the entrance for the pool and the walkway to the beach. Everyone was happy! Would recommend!

We had a blast!

This home was beautiful and in a good location! The only thing we didn’t like was sharing the mother in law suite with someone we don’t know. The house had more supplies and toiletries than we needed for our stay. We loved the area!

Our first trip to Port St.Joe

This was a great spot for couples or families, had a very family friendly atmosphere, and loved how dog friendly everything was! We loved the neighborhood we stayed in, conveniently located to restaurants in Port St. Joe, but the stay also accommodated for cooking at the house, which was nice. The house was clean, especially for it being a dog friendly stay. Thankfully no one was in the mother-in-law suite while we were there. Overall it was a great stay and we loved being able to take a trip with our dogs!

Windmark Beach

Nice property with all the necessary amenities and more. The house was thoughtfully stocked with childcare items for small children, games for the family, and plenty of cookware. The community is quiet, safe, and conveniently located. BEWARE that the VRBO listing does not include all of the HOA rules for the community. Especially that boats and RVs are not allowed.

Great location and neigborhood

The view from the back porch is great and the home was well stocked. Pool listing should be updated to inform visitors they will have to drive to the other Windmark neighborhood to use their pool until North’s is finished.

Very clean a nice.

We enjoyed our stay there. Nothing negative but the mother-in-law suite was a little weird. Our dogs barked at the adjoining door when someone was there. I felt bad. Overall I would stay there again.

House & location were AMAZING, Vacasa customer service…. Was not.

The home was beautiful and clean especially for being pet friendly! The location with the ocean view was outstanding. The pool we could use was also clean & everyone was friendly! The posting is a bit confusing as it shows 2 different pools, one walk-in entry and one with two sets of steps so we had originally booked this house for the walk-in entry pool as we have young kids who are not the best swimmers. It was disappointing to find out the walk-in pool was not an option for use, even though it was included in the pictures on the listing. Guest service was awful. We could not get clear answers on literally anything. We had asked about early check-in, I had messaged them after 12pm & they responded that they would let us know by 12pm if we could check in early. How would that work if it was already after 12pm when I had asked? We had also brought up the dryer button not working, they did not send anyone to fix it nor did they follow up with us on it. Lastly, were given a pool gate code upon arrival. I had asked Vacasa if both pools were options for use which they responded that the pool we could use was the one 2 miles away at the community area. (Mind you the other pool is 4 houses down and did not require a code for entry). I had assumed the code we were provided upon arrival in our welcome text was to enter the pool 2miles away from the house with the walk-in entry & security. The code did not work of course, and when I had asked them about the code not working they stated we did not need a code for the pool to enter, so i'm unsure of why we were provided a code in the beginning for the pool & we were unable to get a code sent to us to use the walk-in pool.

Great place to stay for a weekend of scalloping!

This is our second time staying in Windmark, but this house is on the north side about a mile away from the main Windmark. We really liked this house a lot. It had a surprise view of the water from the dining room/family room doors leading to the patio which we didn’t expect but was much appreciated. The house itself is just what we were looking for and is about 25 minutes from Cape San Blas. Being a drive away from the restaurants of south Windmark was not a problem at all for us. The beach access is very close, as is the pool, which thankfully was NOT steaming despite the warm air temperatures (the pool in south Windmark was basically unusable the last time we stayed!). The house is very nicely decorated (except for the TV dinner trays used for night stands in the master BR but we didn’t mind). The only gripes I have were mostly with the management company, who had a very sterile and corporate feel. The sheets were not out on the top bunks, and we were informed that “Vacasa does not put sheets on top bunks” which is a bit disappointing considering their share of the fees! I’m sure this is some corporate rule to prevent falls or back injuries! Anyway, the kitchen could use a few more utensils, we would have appreciated coffee filters being supplied (we got a bunch and left them), and the puzzle we did was missing like 10 pieces and should be tossed (I suspect the other puzzles were the same). Despite those small things, we really enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Beautiful home, unfinished community no beach access

This is a very beautiful, clean home. Beds were comfortable, it was spacious, and well furnished and stocked. Unfortunately the listing misrepresented there being beach access, pool, and playground (all under construction). None of these amenities were available and those are some of the key reasons we chose this property. The listing also did not mention the mother in law suite attached by a very thin door. We could hear people talking/coughing, etc. And I'm sure they could hear us. It was a little unsettling. I tried reaching out to the contact given hoping for some sort of discount or other option to make it right, but didn't receive anything other than a, "Thank you for this information." The neighborhood was very friendly and the neighbors were even angry on our behalf that the listing so misrepresented the property and were helpful with making beach access recommendations.
