Blue Jay Ridge Weekend Getaway!

We had such a great time here! The cabin was super cozy and a great place to relax and unwind. The view from the cabin was incredible! We really loved the area as well, the neighbors on the mountain were incredibly nice and welcoming. We walked our dog around and had positive interactions with locals. There were some really great hikes close by to the cabin! We will definitely be back here for another stay!

Me and the family really loved the cabin. It had perfect views, just the right size for our family and dog and the best porch with the best views of the mountains. Will certainly try to book Clint’s property the next time we are in the area. Thank you for the wonderful time Clint! Hugh and Karen

Relaxing Mountain Hideaway

The cabin has beautiful views and was the perfect place to get away from the noise of everyday life. We loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and the screened in porch is perfect for both early morning coffee and late evening relaxing. The extra games and even the extra infant seat were nice touches that were greatly appreciated!

Welcome to Bluejay Ridge! We hope you enjoy your stay. You may be wondering “Will I see lots of Bluejays on Bluejay Ridge?” Probably not. While Bluejays are common in Georgia, they don’t usually live at this elevation (2100 feet). The name came from the general location of the cabin. When people would ask us where the cabin is, it’s sorta Ellijay, and sorta Blue Ridge.
So we combined the names: “Elibluejayridge,” which we simplified to “Bluejay Ridge.”

Enjoy the spectacular long distance year round view while you enjoy the 27 foot screened porch and listen to the sound of the near-by waterfall. Wake up to mountain views from your bed. Centrally located to local attractions in the Ellijay/Blue Ridge area including Long Creek Falls, Noontootla Falls, and Amicalola Falls. Tube the Cartecay River. Shoot Clays at Noontootla Creek Farms. Minutes from Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail.
