New upper level one-bedroom apartment in a 2-story house. Ocean views from every room. Listen to the waves and enjoy the breeze on your private beachside terrace or soak in the sun on your private pool facing terrace. Relax and recharge in a peaceful setting.

Fully equipped kitchen with gas range, air fryer, nutra bullet, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, cooking utensils, pots & pans. We provide supplies such as drinking water, coffee, tea, oils and basic spices.

The upstairs apartment is self contained with private entrance and access to the beach and outdoor shower.
The shared pool is not heated and open year-round.

We live on site with 4 friendly dogs (2 senior and 2 rescues from Chelem). Based on the level of interaction you desire, we are available or will make ourselves invisible :-).

The property is about 1.5 km west of Chelem center with a small store and a couple of restaurants within walking distance but transportation is recommended if you don't like to walk or take public transportation.

Exceeded my expectations

Truly spectacular! The property manager is lovely, the place a gem- you pretty much have a private wonderful beach right in front. The sound of the ocean is the soundtrack of your stay. Highly recommend

Fantastic flat with breathtaking view

The flat is on a private and safe property with a charming garden incl pool. It's very very well equipped and super clean. The landlady is extremely friendly and eager to help with whatsoever matter. But why you should book this is the ocean view and the literally 5 meters between balcony and beach. The view is spectacular and having the living room / kitchen door open watching and hearing the waves is just incredibly calming. We highly recommend this place if you want to calm down, swim and enjoy a nice time. Without a car it might be challenging to get around. There is only limited facilities available by foot.

Perfect beachfront retreat

We picked a perfect week to visit as a storm was coming in as we left. The upstairs apartment is just perfect with a front (Beach side) porch and a back (private pool side) porch. Ute is a wonderful host and provides a fully stocked kitchen, drinking water, soaps & shampoos, linens & towels. As I sit here, back in the states (NC) huddled under some quilts to keep warm, I’m missing that warm ocean breeze, tropical temps and blue Gulf of Mexico water. Till next time..

El departamento está muy lindo, lo tiene muy bien acondicionado (tiene todo lo que se necesita para cocinar y muchas amenidades), además Ute brinda muchísimas atenciones a los huéspedes, nos dejó unas galletas, miel y una botella de jugo espumoso. El lugar cuenta con playa privada muy padre, de oleaje tranquilo y no profunda; también hay una alberca y Ute te presta sillas, toallas de playa, sombrilla, salvavidas, hielera y hasta visores por si los necesitas. La cama nos quedó un poco chica porque mi esposo y yo estamos grandes, pero pudimos descansar. Lo que podría mejorar, sería que la ducha contara con agua caliente durante más tiempo. Fuera de eso, fue excelente la estancia! Muchas gracias Ute!

Amazing beach front home

Our stay in Chelem was absolutely amazing. Our hostess, Ute, was absolutely the best. Any questions or info we needed, she was able to provide and then some. The apartment upstairs where we stayed looks out at the beach and the deck provides an amazing view of the stars at night. The quietness of the beach and the neighborhood means you only hear waves at night. The accommodations were as described and I great working order. We slept well and stayed nice and cool with A/C. What made this the most was truly the hostess Ute. She is so welcoming, friendly and helpful ! When I became ill, she made calls, and helped get me the care I needed to feel better. We loved staying at her place and will definitely return! This VRBO gets a 5++++ rating. You will not be disappointed!
