Kokomo Cabin is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath lake home on Beach Lake, a private 5-acre spring-fed, sand bottom lake. Walk out onto 90+ feet of private sand beach and pristine water! You'll have access to multiple rental amenities, including recreational equipment (games, pedal boat, paddleboards, kayaks, fishing gear), a grill, fire pits (gas and wood smokeless), and more. No motors are allowed on the lake, so it's safe for swimming and families with kids of all ages. 

With 2,080 square feet split evenly across two levels, Kokomo Cabin is great for groups of up to 10 adults and kids - sorry, no pets. Ample kitchen amenities, a great room on each level with a large Roku TV and dining table, plus cozy bedrooms for privacy and relaxation. Our low cleaning fee makes for affordable 2-night stays (4 nights minimum during the summer season), while on-site activities and local adventures create many opportunities for memorable 4-7 night stays.

GET THERE FAST WITH ABUNDANT AMENITIES
We've equipped the property with all the amenities for a stress-free and comfortable stay - allowing you to connect with others while enjoying sunsets, sunrises, and everything in between. 

AMENITIES > INSIDE THE CABIN
-  Kitchen areas on both upper and lower floors; upstairs is fully equipped with cooking, baking, and entertaining supplies; kitchenette downstairs has full fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, Keurig, plates, cups, and more serveware.
- Dining tables on each floor seat up to 8 kids/adults; upstairs has 4 stools at spacious kitchen island; serveware, placemats, and napkins included for each floor!
- Four bedrooms sleep up to 10 adults and children. BEDROOM 1 w/ king, BEDROOM 2 & 3 with queens, bedroom 4 has a bunk bed twin over full plus a twin trundle bed that pulls out. We also provide a queen air mattress and pack n' play. All beds have premium mattresses, quality bedding, two pillow options per bed, dressers, luggage racks, and sound machines/alarm clocks.
- Two full bathrooms with ample towels provided; upstairs has a walk-in shower, and downstairs has a tub with a shower; fully equipped laundry room.
- A large stone fireplace (gas) on the upper level and an electric fireplace downstairs keep the cabin warm and cozy during the cooler months. Central A/C keeps it cool in the summer.
- Indoor fun with 2 large Roku TVs (bring your logins), games, puzzles, art supplies, Wii, and toys for the whole family.
- "Work from Cabin" with a small folding desk, fast wifi, and great views throughout the property (please let us know if you would like this available - kept in a locked room to save space).

AMENITIES > OUTSIDE THE CABIN
- Enjoy multiple gathering spaces with ample seating on the upper deck, lower patio, fire pits, and beach, plus an outdoor dining table on the upper deck.
- Gather around the fire with two areas: One gas fire table with cozy seating on the upper deck and one smokeless wood fire pit near the beach (kiln-dried wood, kindling & starters included).
- Fully equipped with a pedal boat, kayaks, paddle boards, fishing gear (catch & release only, no fishing license is required), recreational gear, and yard games for all seasons.
- The summer is for lake and beach activities, while winter features on-the-ice adventures, sledding, and skating (skates included!)
- In case you missed these details: A private beach, clean lake, catch & release fishing, ping pong & darts (garage), plus a large driveway with parking for four cars - with room for more on our low-traffic cul-de-sac.

AREA ACTIVITIES:

Kokomo Cabin is located next to Castle Rock Lake (Wisconsin's 4th largest), with boat launches, lakeside dining, and a free town park within a 5-minute drive. Castle Rock Lake, a flowage lake created by damming the Wisconsin River, is famous for outdoor recreation such as fishing, water sports, and bird watching. Juneau County offers year-round outdoor activities, including hiking, golfing, horseback riding,  and access to snowmobile and ATV trails is nearby.
ACTIVITIES > OWNERS PICKS:
- Lakeside Dining: We think Shipwreck Bay has the best overall food and atmosphere (8-minute drive), while The Dirty Turtle has the best drinks, space for kids, live music, and an active marina (4-minute drive), but the best burger is the Smashburger at Pine Cove Bar & Grill (6-minute drive).
-Groceries: Festival Foods in Mauston is about 10 minutes away and has a curbside pickup.
- Day Trip: The Wisconsin Dells is only a 35-minute drive and offers many activities year-round. Devil's Lake is just past the Dells and is Wisconsin's most popular state park. 
- Recently renovated, the Town of Germantown Park provides free access to the lake (via trails, dock, beach, and fishing areas) and offers many amenities such as bathrooms and pet accommodations. (4 minutes away) 
- Coffee Shop: Locally owned Collins Coffees runs The Coffee House about 5 minutes up the road at N6828 WI-58, New Lisbon, WI 53950. We have a coffee brewer and Keurig at the cabin.
- There are gas stations and dollar stores within a 5-minute drive.
ACTIVITIES > FOR AFTERNOON DELIGHTS:

- Fishing: Castle Rock Lake, obviously! Great for musky, walleye, catfish, bass and panfish. We can refer a local guide based on your preferences. Petenwell Lake is also nearby.
- Snowmobile trail access just up the road, with over 200 miles of trails in Juneau County managed by local clubs like the New Lisbon Winter Wanderers and Castle Rock River Runners.
- Golf courses: Castle Rock Golf Course, Spring Valley Golf, Northern Bay Resort Golf, Lake Arrowhead Golf.
Snowboarding, skiing, and tubing at Christmas Mountain (35-minute drive) or Cascade Mountain (50-minute drive).
- For pontoon boat, jet ski, canoe, and SUP rentals, check out Castle Rock Watersports.
- Go tubing down the calm waters of the Wisconsin River and enjoy the magnificent scenery with Sandy Shores Tubing & Resort.

ABOUT THE OWNERS:

Inspired by our favorite childhood memories of being in nature, we dreamed of owning a family cabin. Then we stumbled upon Beach Lake, a small development on a spring-fed lake surrounded by white sand. We fell in love with the simple beauty of the lake and how it inspired our children while visiting.

We designed and built Kokomo Cabin (with local builders and contractors), putting our heart and soul into every detail. From the multiple gathering spaces inside and out to well-maintained recreational equipment, we made sure that our cabin is a place where people come to relax, connect with nature, and create unforgettable memories.

We manage the property ourselves and stay often, so you'll interact with us from booking throughout the process. We look forward to providing you with a 5-star experience and unforgettable memories.

SECURITY:
The Property has security cameras on the exterior front and back of the house for safety and security purposes. There are no cameras inside the house. There are sensors inside the house for the following purposes:
- On the basement patio door, a sensor chimes when the door opens to ensure the safety of children.
- Fire alarms and flood/freeze sensors notify the Homeowners when triggered. If you hear an alarm, please vacate the house and call us!
- Exterior doors have open/close sensors. Interior doors to Homeowner-only rooms (utility room and closet under the stairs) are locked and have open/close sensors.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: The $200 security deposit, which VRBO says is “collected on-premise” is NOT collected on-premise – it is a credit card preauthorization and will be released after your stay if no damage is reported/found.

ACCESSIBILITY NOTICE:
A very flat, large driveway with extra room on a cul-de-sac road makes parking of cars and trailers easy. However,  it is a two-level home with a couple of stairs to enter the home, an internal staircase, plus a slanted yard and a stairway leading down to the beach. We strive to be as inclusive as possible, but unfortunately, our home may not be suitable for individuals with mobility impairments or those who require wheelchair accessibility.
