loved it

We were 2 families staying together and the place worked great for us, it was stocked with everything we could possibly need and it was very comfortable and clean. The surrounding area is stunning with lots of nature hikes and outdoors things to do with families, we loved it.

We will be back!!!

Staying at this charming cabin was a great decision! The cabin is beautifully furnished and extremely clean! The view from the decks is so peaceful, you can hear the water splashing from a nearby creek. The kitchen was fully equipped and furnished with brand new Samsung appliances. They even have a Nespresso coffee machine and a regular coffee maker. We enjoyed breakfasts and dinners, including a BBQ on the upper deck and had a movie night on the downstairs deck.They have an outdoor TV mounted on the wall. The cabin is decorated nicely. Made us feel at home. There was enough space for the 6 of us, plus our dog. The kids loved the downstairs area to hang out and play board games at night. Big Canoe has great amenities. Our kids loved the rock slide and the paddle boats. We can highly recommend the close-by hiking trail to the Waterfalls! A supermarket is a 10 minute car ride away which was convenient. Overall, this was a great experience. We will be back!

Needs work

This is an adorable cabin with nice kitchen appliances and good potential. Nice extras in the decor. However, it needs a lot of TLC. There were a lot of issues. We were visiting for our daughter's wedding. We arrived at night. Several lights were not working (remote control). Gaps in windows allowed many insects inside including carpenter bees. Spiders everywhere and large ants in the kitchen. Leaking shower and a terrible smell in the basement. Nasty mattresses without protectors. Not a place for children! My younger daughter was scared the whole time! We were very disappointed in the care of this cute little cabin.
