Perfect getaway for 2

Went up for the weekend for our anniversary! The location to Blue Ridge was perfect. We could leave the cabin and be in downtown in close to 15 minutes. The only thing we said could’ve made it a tad bit better would be if the furniture was somehow set up where when you were sitting on the couch, you could see the mountains, but I don’t think that’s possible but other than that it was wonderful for just the two of us.

Anniversary weekend

This was such a cute, cozy and perfect place to spend our anniversary weekend! Our favorite things were the rocking chairs on the deck and the really nice hot tub. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Stunning view

My husband and I enjoyed this cozy cabin. We loved sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and just staring out at the beautiful view of the mountains!

Short get away

Enjoyed our stay. Nice clean cabin. With all the rain I’m glad we had the truck to drive up the mountain. Only suggestion I have would be to have lamps in the living room.

Perfect get away

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was perfect for just the two of us! And view … HEAVENLY!! (Not to mention … paved roads! 🙌🙌🙌🙌)

Lovely stay - read these details

On the Rocks is a good reasonably priced place for a couples getaway. Easy to get there on all paved roads. 20 minutes from Blue Ridge. Good easterly view (sun sets across the street). No dishwasher, all double beds, says it will accommodate six but only four plates. And only has a Keurig coffee maker so bring your K-cups if you need coffee.

Nowhere to walk dog

I don't really know how to rate this property because within 5 mins of arriving i knew it wasn't going to work for me. Being it allowed dogs, i assumed there was ample space in the area to walk a dog to potty. There was a little bit of space in the rocky driveway and on the rocky strip on each side of the road. Otherwise nothing. My dog won't walk on rocks. Place seemed fine but i had booked a 3 night stay but left after being there only 20 mins and never came back.

Uncleaned

Upon arrival we found the cabin dirty. The carpet was full of animal hairs. The restroom was dirty and had used towels on the rack. The bedroom had used soiled sheets still on the bed. The floors were dirty and covered in animal hair. The sofa's were also covered with animal hair. The kitchen sink had dirty dishes in it. The refrigerator had dirty dishes as well . They sent people to clean the unit after we had checked in. The cleaning job was done poorly so I went to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the unit myself. I am allergic to pet hair so I had to move the carpet outside to the deck. We couldn't contact management to help us resolve these issues.
