Reviewer Comments: Love the location, unfortunately my unit the owner just seems not to keep up the inside, out dated, furniture is old , dirty and worn out no support left in the cushions. The mattress needs to be replaced and the carpet is horrible. And I do believe that the pool gate should have a key code on it to stop beach people from coming in and using it as their own as a bathroom and bath themselves I myself have had some very rude people yelling at me and using foul language which I think could have been avoided if they just couldn't open the gate to get into the pool area they would have to hop the fence.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We would consider staying at this property in the future however we would avoid condo 225. Describing this as a "Large Updated Unit" is misleading. The security lights were right outside the bedroom window -- to room was never really dark. The condo was noisy -- I am guessing the constant humming and buzzing was from the A/C units on the roof. The living room furniture could use an update -- it was not comfortable to sit on. On the positive side we loved the easy access to the beach and the view of the beach from right outside of our room. Being directly across the street from John's Pass is a real plus for us. In 2022 we stayed in Condo 223 which we would consider renting again.

Unit could use some updating. Beds especially. Location of the complex was perfection. Would stay at surf song again. Might just choose a different unit. Also, don’t know if it’s standard or not but for a week stay there was nothing in the unit as far as any toiletries or extra garbage bags, paper towels. Ect. Nothing. Kinda disappointing.

Family Vacation at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I have always stayed in Unit 225 and have always been happy with it. We always called it "our home away from home." However over the last few years we have noticed a decline in the overall condition of the unit. It is definitely in need of some TLC and some updates. The interior side of the front door needs a coat of paint. The couch is dingy and very worn. The mattresses are not comfortable at all and the living room definitely needs a BIGGER TV.

Perfect

Having a spot right on the water was so great! The property is older, but kept up nicely. I wished our unit would have had a few beach towels and chairs. We ended up having to purchase these things while we were there. As far as our unit, it worked great for our family of 4. The sofas could use a refresh. Other than that, it was a perfect stay. Would definitely stay here again!
