Surrounded by huge 100 year old oaks and scenic wildlife, the Salt Creek is a well appointed get away. If you want to experience world class fishing and also have resort level accommodations then this is the place for you.
We fell in love with Sargent in 2020 and bought the Salt Creek in early 2022. After almost a year of renovations we are ready to share our family retreat.
We love to get away and relax. We love the people and atmosphere in Sargent and hope you will too.

Enjoyed this property with my family. Had a little mishap due to some rain, let Gavin know. It didn’t stop us! It was our first time in the area and we loved it! Cannot wait to go back.

Love At First Sight

Beautiful home. Very comfortable bedding and furniture. The house has everything needed. Great communication with the owner. I will definitely rent this home again.

Comfortable

My brother has a house on the next street down, so we spent most of our time there with family. We basically just needed the house for a place to sleep and shower. The house is in a great location. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were excellent. It had everything we needed and more. Contacted the owner twice and he responded immediately both times. We will definitely consider staying again in the future.

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean and very spacious! My guys loved the fishing, the dock was great and covered for the few times it sprinkled while we were there! I highly recommend this home if you're staying in Sargent!

Great weekend getaway!

Nice spacious back yard on the creek. Friendly neighborhood. Plenty of room for everyone. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing

We absolutely loved our stay and loved the house and location. Caught lots of fish off the dock and we just enjoyed sitting outside in the huge backyard. We definitely will be going back!

Wonderful Stay

The home was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, home fully stocked, backyard was the best relaxing, enjoyable & beautiful. Loved our stay . The owner was one point . Extremely helpful & quick to answer our questions. Highly recommend this home. We will definitely be back . Loved everything about our stay . Wish we could of stayed longer

Peaceful getaway

This is our second year staying here. It is always a wondwrdul getaway . Gavin , communicates very well and within 10 minutes. We stayed during alberto storm not a direct hit. Had some minor creek high tides. House is very nice and clean. Spacious, everything you need for your trip.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning waterfront views and the cleanliness of the property. The location was unbeatable—just steps from the water, which made morning walks and sunset views a daily highlight. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. Amazing!

We loved this property! Very big spacious back yard. We set up a volleyball net and had plenty of space! Great outdoor lighting. Very nice neighbor's. Very close to the water.. was bice for my 77 year old father . No steps to climb to get into the house. Plenty of family games to play on rainy days! House was nice size plenty of space for teenagers to run come and go and they had nice bedrooms for some peace and quite. When i contacted the owner he responded within 10 to 15 mins. Overall we loved this house and the location! Very nice setup! We will book again!

Excellent getaway

Great location for a getaway. We went fishing in Matagorda and ate at the restaurants in Sargent, Lake Jackson, and Bay City. Too little time to take advantage of all of the amenities. Thanks Gavin and Sarah for sharing this slice of Heaven with everyone!

Spacious home on the creek

What a great spacious house that had everything you could want! The house was super clean with a wonderful master bedroom and bath! Love the farmhouse kitchen sink too in the kitchen! The deck on the creek was so big, and the tree s were amazing and provided alot of shades. Such a great time!
