Privat, modernt hem med utsikt över snön.

Vår familjestuga har varit privatägt sedan 1955. Huset ligger på ett och ett halvt privat tunnland, med vinterutsikt över Mount Snow. Det har all bekvämlighet att vara nära berget utan buller och trängsel.
På sommaren är det ett lugnt ställe att njuta av medan man sitter på ett av två däck som sveper runt huset. Man kan enkelt gå till Mount Snow och njuta av sommarhändelserna, eller vandra längs bäcken längs fastigheten.
På vintern är det mindre än en mil från Mount Snow, lättillgängligt för basstugan. Detta hus är ett mysigt skidhem för en familjesamling på vintern.
Huset är ett envånings modernt däckhus som är barnvänligt, med massor av brädspel, WiFi och platt-TV med ett surroundljudsystem.

Cozy rustic cabin!

Our family (2 adults, 3 teens) spent a weekend at this cabin to snowboard and loved its very close proximity to Mount Snow, the views of the mountain, and the overall rustic vibe. The cabin had plenty of space for all of us. The host provides lots of information regarding the cabin prior to your stay which is helpful. You do have to bring your own towels and sheets, and opening the flue is a bit tricky (but once you get it the fireplace is a nice feature!), but overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Cozy Home Needing Safety Improvements

Overall, this home is charming and located in a nice area, great for small families or groups, especially skiers. Though we didn't ski, we enjoyed the area and walks around the neighborhood. The cozy living room, comfy beds, and bright rooms were highlights.However, I rated it 3/5 due to some safety concerns. We were excited about using the fireplace, but when following the instructions, smoke started coming out of the chimney. Despite our efforts to check the flue, the smoke continued, and the fireplace had visible soot stains on the exterior and ceiling from previous uses. The owner said this was normal, but the interior of the chimney appeared clogged with debris. I highly recommend a regular professional inspection to ensure proper airflow and safety before using the fireplace. We did not use the fireplace at all due to this, which was a letdown and one of the reasons we had booked the property. Additionally, we planned to use the crockpot listed in the amenities, but it was outdated, dusty, and had bugs in it. After cleaning, we still used it but felt uncomfortable leaving it unattended. I suggest investing in newer, safer appliances, especially those advertised in the home description.If those details are taken care of, this property would be a gem.

Great Mt. Snow Stay

The house was a 4 minute drive from the mountain, which was just perfect! The fireplace was wonderful to come back to after a cold day on the mountain and there was plenty of seating for everyone in our party. The cabin is rustic, the kitchen is small but it has everything you need. Had a great stay!

Great ski lodge for 3 of us

Nice place, small but complete kitchen, all rooms comfortable, bathrooms clean and new but NO toiletries and that was not mentioned in the listing. Bring your own shampoo (as well as towels and sheets - that was mentioned). Excellent fireplace with endless rock-hard maple firewood. Very close to the resort. Driveway and roads to the driveway are steep - if it snows while you are there you will NEED 4WD to get close to the house. It snowed our last day and we had to leave our car 300 yards down the mountain. Overall a great visit and we would come back for sure.

Cozy snowboarding trip with friends

It's a great spot to stay so close to the mountain! It's very secluded, which is what we wanted. Three best friends from growing up had a lovely, quiet weekend of snowboarding and catching up. The cabin was super cozy and clean. I’d love to book again.

Gem of a ski house!

This home was perfect for our ski vacation. Very clean and comfortable and SO close to the mountain. We loved our evenings by the fire with the great selection of board games. Would absolutely stay here again.

Cozy cabin in the woods

We loved this cabin. It is in a beautiful spot and it super convenient to Mt Snow. There are some small general maintenance issues that could be addressed to make the place even better, but it all balances out. Andy is very responsive and helpful and we really appreciate him and his cozy cabin.

Cozy, retro spot in a primo location

Andy’s cottage was a cozy and retro spot for our family of 5. The location was very ideal for skiing at Mount Snow. Pictures and description are accurate. The property manager responded when we made a request. Be aware there are no bed linens or towels supplied. And you have to pick up and drop off the key at a different location.

Cozy house with everything we needed

Nice, clean cottage that is not fancy, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our toddler crawled all over the place and loved it. Kitchen had everything we needed and more, despite appearing dated at first glance. Living room was a great place to hang out and read, watch TV or just gaze out the windows at all of the surrounding trees. Very quiet time of year (late May/early June) maybe due to lots of bugs, but we heard from the locals they’re gone by Fathers Day. Lots of conveniences nearby, but you feel secluded in the woods. Awesome place to sleep. Overall a really nice stay - would definitely recommend.

The best

We had a wonderful stay at the Moore cottage. I have to agree with the prior reviews that it is small but mighty! The location cannot be beat. Secluded yet down the road from mount snow. My family of 4 spent 5 nights here over winter break. We were lucky to get a good amount of snow and plowing was done timely. My kids had a blast. We hope to and look forward to coming again!

Could be a 5 star

Property was very nice and everything we needed for a few days of skiing. My only concern was that the driveway is kind of on the steep side and it was icy the first two days there making it very difficult to get down to the flat end of the driveway. It would of been nice to see some additional sand and salt on those days, overall a very good experience and would rent again if allowed.

Perfect Winter Escape

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The spacious family room had a cozy spot for everyone in my family. The house was super clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed for cooking and baking. The house is so private and quiet at the end of a dirt road and within minutes you are at Mount Snow. We hope to return!

This is a family home that was built by my father and mother the same year that the trails were being cut on Mount Snow. Ever since then this house has been the center of two generations of year round family fun.
It feels like home to both family and others that have rented the cottage.

This is the ideal location for the family that likes privacy and convenience at the same time. It is 2-3 minutes to Mount Snow and 25 minutes to Stratton Mountain, to enjoy 4 seasons of fun, skiing, hiking, golfing and mountain biking
The cottage is 2 1/2 hours from Boston, 1 1/2 hours from Albany and 4 hours from New York City and 6 hours from Philadelphia.
