Upon entering, you’re greeted by a cozy sitting area and large fireplace, creating the perfect atmosphere for unwinding with a good book. Just off the sitting area, the open kitchen awaits, ready for family meals or a leisurely winter evening in. The dining area, with its beautiful forest views, is a perfect spot for meals or sharing stories, and the back porch is great for wildlife watching or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of nature.

Convenience is key with a full-size washer and dryer on the main level, plus a half bath for added ease. One of the private bedrooms is on the main floor, with a queen bed and access to a full bathroom featuring a tub/shower combo.
Head upstairs to discover the open loft, where you’ll find a cozy queen bed, a TV, and a fun living area overlooking the space below; perfect for kids or young adults looking for a little privacy. The second private bedroom, also with a queen bed, offers a peaceful retreat for adults.

With easy access from the main road and a large driveway that accommodates sled and boat trailers, this cabin is perfect for both winter and summer adventures. Whether you’re coming for the lake, the forest, or simply to enjoy the quiet mountain air, this cabin is the perfect home base for your Colorado getaway.

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made prior to 30 days of your arrival date for stays of 6 nights or less will incur a $50 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. Cancellations of reservations of 7 nights or more, prior to 30 days before your arrival date incur a $200 cancellation fee and forfeit the non-refundable booking fee. For cancellations within 30 days of arrival date the entire amount is non-refundable for all reservations.

Winter Arrival:
Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.
