We had a great time at Las Catalinas. Blue Zone, the company that manages the property was very helpful and Nikki arranged everything we needed for us.We will definitely go back.

Good value for a no-frills property. No Cleaning during the stay, no valet parking which you have to pay for, if not, you have to walk 15 minutes to the parking lot in the heat, but convenient location next to the hotel. We were just there to use the beds for the night, so for that reason it works.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We would like to clarify that for stays of more than five nights, a cleaning service is included during the stay. For shorter stays, such as a two-night reservation as yours, mid-stay cleaning is not included. Additional cleaning services can, of course, be requested for an extra fee. Regarding parking, the public parking area in Las Catalinas is free of charge and is the same parking system used by all properties in the area. Valet parking is an additional service provided by a third party and is not operated or managed by our company, so any fees associated with that service are completely outside of our control. We appreciate your feedback and are glad the convenient location worked well for your stay.

Beautiful home with stunning view from top floor balcony. Well equipped for our week in Las Catalinas. Small plunge pool was nice to cool off.

Beautiful home in a good location!! We enjoyed our stay overall, although the ac unit in the bunkbed room was broken, which made the room unusable. Our kids were so disappointed! They were able to replace the ac eventually, but it took 4 days (out of our 5 day trip), and the host did not offer any type of discount to the rate for our inconvenience. There are a lot of stairs in this home, which was fine for us but may not be for others and is not fully described in the listing. The 5th floor roof deck has a gorgeous ocean view if you can make it up there!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry for the inconvenience with the AC in the bunkbed room and understand the disappointment, especially for your children. The AC stopped working unexpectedly on the day of your arrival; this was not a pre-existing issue with the property. Unfortunately, the replacement part had to be sourced from San José, which delayed the repair. The AC has since been fully repaired and is ready for future guests. To avoid any disruption, we offered the downstairs one-bedroom apartment in the same property, with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and additional space. As this alternative was provided at no extra cost, no refund was issued. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the stairs and will review the listing to make sure this is clearly communicated.
