My family and I linked up with my brother’s family for 8 nights in Bracciano. The villa was set up perfectly for us (4 adults, 3 children) and it really felt like it could have been our home. The lake is a 3 minute walk away down a private pathway at the bottom of the garden. The perfectly preserved Renaissance castle overlooks the spacious lawn. The property, lakeside and Bracciano area were so beautiful that we didn’t even bother going into Rome as we had originally planned. I’m hesitant to leave such a glowing review for fear of the property becoming overbooked next summer as we’re pretty enthusiastic about a repeat visit. Grazie Mille EC

Lake house in Bracciano

The lake house on Lake Bracciano was the perfect Italian vacation. The location between the shore of the lake and the town of Bracciano was a good spot to relax or take day trips with the convenience of the train station that is in the town. The house is very comfortable and was perfect for us and our children and grandchildren that came to visit. It is well appointed with everything needed and has a very nice kitchen. The outdoor spaces are beautiful and a great extension of the house. Elise is an excellent hostess and was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants, transportation etc. We throughly enjoyed our time in Bracciano and hope to return.

A Wonderful Find by Lake Bracciano

Gorgeous spacious house, wonderful garden, beautiful views and only 5 minutes from the lake front. Our host, Elise, just couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. She is a fantastic, friendly engaging host and immediately replied to all our queries. The house was extremely well equipped, in particular the kitchen has everything you might need in vast quantities. It was comfortable, clean, generous and welcoming. We stayed there for 2 wonderful months and I have to say Bracciano is one of the friendliest places on the planet.

We stayed at this lovely villa for a month in October. The weather was like a Swedish summer. Around 20 degrees and mostly sunny. The house had a beautiful view over the Bracciano lake from the patio. Our two dachshunds loved the garden that was completely safe even for our huntingdog that always wants out… Our grandchildren had a lot of joy there as well. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds really comfortable. Both Elena who took care of the house daily and the landlady was very nice and easy to get in contact with. The area was nice with restaurants and the sea very close. As it was lowseason in October it was very calm and not everything was open but that was perfect for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Bel Lago. My wife and two adult children were very comfortable during our 6 night stay. The host, Elise was very personable, a great communicator and very knowledgeable about Bracciano and the surrounding area. She went above a beyond to provide information on restaurants, taxi services, grocery stores, points of interest and more. We also had access to an onsite property manager. The house is incredibly well stocked with everything that you could possibly need right down to Ziploc bags and scissors! There wasn’t anything that we looked for that we couldn’t find in the house. It also came fully stocked with beach towels and refillable water bottles, which made going to the beach easy. We vacationed during one of the hottest weeks on record and the air conditioning units kept the house cool and comfortable. The description of the house and surrounding area was accurate. The house is walking distance to the beach clubs, restaurants and great gelato! Villa bel Lago guests can also receive 10% off at certain businesses, which was a great perk. Overall, the experience was great and we would highly recommend Villa bel Lago to anyone interested in a relaxing, picturesque, lake vacation, Italian style!

Villa sul lago

Ho soggiornato in questa bellissima casa con la mia famiglia per due settimane Casa molto accogliente, ben attrezzata e molto pulita Giardino grande e curato con una splendida vista sul lago raggiungibile con un breve sentiro privato in 2 minuti a piedi. Proprietari molto disponibili e premurosi Sicuramente da ripetere Letizia
