Wonderful family vacation

Perfect for our family with young adult children! A choice of beaches, great location close to Newport. We had lots of together time but the second family room on third floor was a dreamy escape fore solo time

Spacious beautiful 4 bedroom home in a great location

This is a spacious well equipped and decorated home. Everything you need for a wonderful week near the ocean. Quiet and easy to get to several beaches, great restaurants and all that RI has to offer. Third floor allows for a quiet get way spot. Easy to reach host.

Great house

Loved the house. The best room was the third floor family room get away. Being on main road was a little distracting when windows were open. Washer was not operating correctly & wished we had more towels but overall house was very roomy.

Disappointing

To start, the description was inaccurate when we booked this house months ago. It was described as if it was in Bonnet Shores but it was not. After we had paid in full and received the address of the house, we brought it to their attention that the description was a misrepresentation of where the house actually was. They said it had been changed, but it was too late for us. Upon arrival, the house had not been cleaned properly. The shower curtain was so disgusting they had to bring us a new one. The woman who arrived with the shower curtain was very unhappy with the condition of the house and said it had not been properly prepared for our stay. A comforter had bodily fluids on it, and they had to bring another one. There was a hand towel with blood on it. The kitchen cabinet was broken and falling off the hinge. There were ants. The patio furniture was not cleaned and could not be used. It took days for them to come to clean it. The “Ocean view” could only be seen from the third floor sitting area and was over a restaurant and Route 1A. The washing machine had mold in it and did not work. They did give us a very small refund; however, it did not offset the inconveniences based on what we paid to stay there for a week.

We hope future renters will take this review with a grain of salt. We have never advertised that this home was in Bonnet Shores. VRBO automatically displays what attractions are nearby and Bonnet Shores is one of the attractions listed. This is not something that can be removed as it is an automatic display done by vrbo not our team. Sadly, this renter was unhappy from the start which never leads to a pleasant vacation. This is truly a lovely home, beautifully decorated and in a great location to various Narragansett attractions! Right across the street from Twin Willows which most find enjoyable and convenient! We did everything we could to help turn around this guests experience. We went above and beyond to rectify any complaints and gave a generous refund of almost $500. We are very confident future guests will enjoy this home and create memorable vacations here!
