Peace and quiet prevail in this pet friendly secluded creek side cabin, located adjacent to Table Rock State Park. Enjoy the serenity of 12 wooded acres from two large porches (the rear porch is screened) well equipped with a swing, gliders, rockers, sofas, and a dining table.
Private drive, large backyard bordered by a gentle creek, and a great fire pit for gathering. Enjoy provided horse shoes, frisbees, and ring game.
The bright and clean cabin will exceed your expectations. Living room with a beautiful stone fireplace, 42 inch Roku TV & DVDs, comfy seating, and a great space for family games, or quiet time. Wi-Fi service account and password on fridge magnet.
Two private bedrooms + loft over the living room provide a total of 1 queen, 2 full, and 2 twin beds.
The oversized bathroom with freestanding tub & a dressing table is well appointed and indulgent.
Full kitchen includes fridge, stove/oven, microwave, Keurig w/coffee, teas, and hot chocolate. A Weber grill, both indoor and outdoor dining tables, and a generous abundance of kitchenware making mealtime a breeze.
New washer/ dryer and extra linens are provided.

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. This was a wonderful place to stay for our weekend getaway. The house was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Our favorite spot was the screened in back porch. If you want a quiet peaceful place to stay, this is it. Its close to lots of hiking, Victoria Valley Vineyard. Great cabin.

Great Cabin

All the reviews and the description are spot on - this is a great, well-maintained cabin and perfect spot for exploring the Upstate. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay very much, the property is clean, well-appointed and quite cozy. The property is secluded and very private, a great place to get away. We will definitely be coming back.

So beautiful and convenient

The cabin was gorgeous and had everything you could need and more. Super convenient to Table Rock State Park. The cabin was tucked away and the screened in porch was perfect for watching the fireflies. Very peaceful!

Beautiful, secluded cabin with all the amenities to unwind or as a home base for activities.

Had a great stay at this lovely cabin that we used as a home base for some family activities in the Upstate. Richard was a fantastic host, with great communications and his cabin had everything we could possibly need. Would definitely recommend this property. We’ll be back!

Weekend getaway!

We traveled from Charleston, while we were there hiked at Table Rock State Park. Everything we needed for our weekend was at the house or available close by!

Family Trip

My husband and I visit family in this area and have found Woods Retreat to now be our "go to" for each trip. This is our second stay and not only is the location and the communication with the host perfect, we also absolutely love everything about this cabin. Cozy and well-equipped

Had a little miscommunication about check in info at the beginning, but Richard went above and beyond to make it right. The house was beautiful, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Location was secluded but convenient to shops and hiking. Overall a great stay!

Great VRBO!

We rank this property amongst the best we have ever stayed. Owners have supplied and equipped this property very well. We did not find a single thing we needed that was missing. Very clean and comfortable. Very private and secluded. If visiting this area we would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely Perfect!

My husband and I spent the weekend and it was simply perfect. So perfect, in fact, I believe we could live there. The cabin is in a very quiet location, exactly what we needed, was very clean, and exceeded our expectations. Also, when communicating the host was prompt with responses. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great stay!

Peaceful and much needed

Comfortable and clean. Easy to find. Check in and out very easy. Everything we needed was provided. Very close to table rock park. I can't say enough to describe it adequately here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Cabin in the woods

It was wonderful! Very clean and so well stocked! My stepfather was with us and is now on oxygen due to covid. He was very comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! Am looking forward to future visits.

Wonderful Weekend

My 82 year old father had been asking to go to the mountains for his birthday. He has dementia and mobility issues but the cabin was perfect. We had everything we needed. Richard kept in touch and was very accommodating.

All I can say is "WOW". I had contact with the owner several times and each time it was great! He was very courteous and nice. This cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was so nice and clean with so many nice touches, He had everything you could think of and more!

Uh-mazing!!

Loved this sweet log cabin nestled within the seemingly endless forest. Although our stay was fleeting, we still achieved the restful reset that we were seeking. Richard was a wonderful host that pays attention to details and responded to every query quickly and with patience (I asked a lot!). There's not much he hasn't provided... games, hair dryer, pots, bedding, soap, pet bowls... even toilet paper! :) The cabin was exactly as described, clean, and everything was in working order. We loved the airy, screened-in back porch! We are still trying to figure out how they got 3 beds up in that loft! :) I will also mention... I am highly allergic to cats and dogs and am on stuff around the clock. I can always tell when my allergies will be a problem with the first step inside the door... I could not tell pets had been in this cabin! Even the wildlife added to our adventure... just as we were going outside to grill our dinner the first night, a black bear came lumbering through the backyard. Dinner was a little late that night! Ha! :) We look forward to hopefully being able to go back one day soon! Thank you again!

Wonderful place to have a family vacation! Extremely peaceful location with a beautiful stream to explore just down the hill from the property. We loved how secluded the drive was back to the cabin, but yet you’re so close to Table Rock State Park. The beds were comfortable along with the living room furniture. Our boys’ loved the loft, family board games, the challenge of biking down to Aunt Sue’s and back, exploring the stream and the woods. The cabin was extremely well stocked with everything we needed. My husband and I spent most mornings having our coffee either on the front porch swing or in the screened in porch on the back of the house. We also enjoyed the fire pit area our last evening. We spotted a beautiful owl perched in the backyard and the neighborhood bear checking for food down at Aunt Sue’s (restaurant/ice cream) several times. Table Rock State Park is a wonderful place to take your family. We enjoyed swimming in the lake and an amazing waterfall that we found off of a hiking trail. You are only minutes to the State Park from this property! The locals are very friendly as well! Best vacation we’ve had in a long time! We all felt so refreshed after our stay in this beautiful area of South Carolina! Richard is extremely kind and helpful. My husband enjoyed having a phone conversation with him about the history of the area. Our family dog, Maggie, had an amazing time as well! We will for sure visit again! The Sponseller’s

Our stay in the cabin was fantastic! It is tucked back in the woods with a rustic feel but in a high end way. All of the furniture and finishing were top quality and in great condition, fully stocked kitchen, plus all of the added touches like towels and toiletries that made our visit so easy. Loved the peace and quiet, sitting on the screened porch listening to the birds and the creek! The only thing we didn’t get to check off our list was seeing a bear!
