Excellent

We have stayed there 3 times now. We love it. Quiet. Just right for two of us and our fur babies. It is our romantic anniversary getaway. Bring some food to snack on but there are restaurants and places to visit in the area. Everyone is so nice in the area. The cabin has everything you need. I do bring extra towels.

The cabin was great and has everything you need for a stay in the woods. Everything was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is also located perfectly for quick trips to see amazing scenery.

Location is key to peace and beauty

The cabin is located near a fabulous area for exploring the beauty of Table Rock and the surrounding area. The setting in the woods is perfection.

In the woods

We chose to stay here for the location being close to where we were going to be hiking. It is in the woods and quiet which we enjoyed. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes were very happy when we were there. The cabin is very cute and kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The downside is the mattresses were not comfortable and the bathroom has no door only a curtain, so that was disappointing. We did not mind the curtain on the bathroom as much being it was just family. But, the matresses need to be updated cause that made for a rough nights sleep. If the mattresses were updated would stay here again. The area though is amazing.

Weekend get away

Very nice, had everything we needed. Secluded. Very good deal. Hiked at nearby Table Rock, then dinner in Pickens. We were tired after our hike, ate a late lunch at the cabin. All the nearby local restaurants close early at 5 or 4 on Saturday. Good time to hang out together.

Lazy Host

Cabin was OK. The outside picture is misleading, the cabin is much older and has turned a different color, and the landscaping wasn’t as nice. Wasn’t much of an issue as it was purely cosmetic, but did make it difficult to tell if we were at the right place. Definitely felt “catfished”. When I went inside, the cabin looked the same as pictures listed. However, I was greeted with #2 stains all inside the toilet. Gross. Then found spider webs and dead bugs on the floor in kitchen.

Fantastic base camp!

My daughter and I came to hike at Table Rock. The place is super convenient, very clean, eclectic and the lighting is Great! Owner flies drones - so if a drone comes over the property it is harmless! Would stay here again without pause!

Peaceful Stay

A cabin in the woods

Peaceful place to stay. Close enough to waterfalls and some mountains but far enough out where you feel relaxed. Loved our 4 days there. Any questions contact host and they respond in a short time communication with them is wonderful.

Perfect Getaway

We are educators who wanted a little mountain escape for fall break. We've stayed in several little cabins, and this place was by far the most comfortable! The cabin had everything to make our stay comfortable and NOT the absolute bare minimum as some cabins have. A whole couch for lounging! The forest and surrounding area is gorgeous.

Cute Cabin in the Woods

Cute tiny cabin with great decorations and nice craftsmanship! Kitchen has everything you need. Bathroom has great shower. Plenty of room for us. Enjoyed steaks on the grill. Good selection of DVDs. Small porch for enjoying the outdoors. We found Wildcat Falls close by and the Bald Rock Heritage Preserve with amazing views of the mountains! This is the cabin you want if you wish to be in the woods and have privacy! Karen and Jeff are nice people.

My boyfriend introduced me to this area, it was not my first time here but I saw it through new eyes when I first visited his vacation rental with a friend and was introduced to him. He was my inspiration to find stay in this little paradise, to see the beauty every day and not to be held in the bustle of the city. #citygirlgonecountry! We built this guest cabin and my cabin home in these woods (with my boyfriend and a friend who is a builder) as a place to be in nature for myself and as a lovely place to share with vacation guests coming to this area.

I looked at many properties before deciding on this particular one. Nothing else offered the kind of location that this property does. It's fantastic and was the best buy of my life.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

This hand crafted cabins, built by myself, my boyfriend and a builder friend are unique and cozy. I tried to think of how things would work so people could move about the cabin comfortably and would have anything they needed to cook with and relax.
The small porch is where you will spend relaxing time watching the birds and listening to all things in nature surrounding. You can hear the world beyond every once in a while and that makes this cozy place all the more special.
