Such a wonderful lake house! Just perfect for a weekend away to relax and reconnect. Very well appointed, and nice little surprises with some of the amenities. The neighbors were wonderful as well. Highly recommend staying here.

Weekend getaway

This was a great stay and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a lakeside getaway. The property was clean, quiet, great view and access to the lake and checking in was clear and easy to follow.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed for a weekend and absolutely loved the getaway. Everything as advertised and communication on the few questions I had were prompt and informative. Beautiful setting on the water and all the amenities you could ask for!

Lovely views on lake

We came to the area for just two days and stayed in this cabin on Hess lake one night. The cabin is small, well stocked and comfortable. Sitting out on the deck by the pier is so peaceful. The host Dustin is very responsive.

Wonderful hideout

Boyfriend & I stayed here to get away from the city for a few days and hike the National Forest. Great host and great property, very clean and in a beautiful spot. Thank you!

Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful property and home! We came from about 4 hours away via motorcycle for the holiday weekend. The home was furnished with all the essentials that we needed and then some, which was a great plus for us since we could only pack minimal. I highly recommend staying here!

Great lakehouse stay

My girflfriend and I were looking for a night away at a lakehouse, and this was just what we were looking for. Cozy spot with nice decorations and a comfortable bed and couch. Great view right on the lake and there was even. Wood ready for a fire in the fire pit. We will definitely be ba l at some point. :)

Peaceful lake hideout⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dustin was an amazing host! He was very kind, helpful and always got back to us quickly. The property was so peaceful with a beautiful view. The home was so lovely with very nice decor, cozy sectional and comfy bed! The home was well appointed. We hated to leave and will miss morning coffee on the patio and having fires right next to the lake. Wonderful getaway spot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hess Lake Hideout

Nice little place to stay, it is on lake well water so the water has a little smell to it and makes it so the toilet will only refill to flush every 20 minutes or so. We also brought in bottled water to drink/brush our teeth. The place has lots of extra amenities that you would not expect. The communication with the owner Dustin was great.

Great Getaway

Cottage was cute, well equipped and had a beautiful view of the lake. Nice to have a personal dock available for our boat. Had a small issue with coffee pot but Dustin was prompt to answer our call and fix the problem. Area was quiet and close to town for convenience. Nice to not get priced gouged with ridiculously high service and cleaning fees like so many other rentals that are getting out of control with their charges! Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a nice, relaxing getaway Dustin.

Short Stay

The property was very nice, inside & out. Bonus that you have your own dock! Furnishings were comfortable and everything was well stocked in the kitchen and many amenities were provided in the bathroom. The owner advised me of a potential electrical issue with the water pump. It was a mild inconvenience but easily rectified. It was being addressed by the owner.

Great time at Hess Lake!

Awesome stay in a very clean little house. Two nights and were not bothered by the neighbors and that was great. Couldn't find the roku remote and there was no bally sports app for the Tigers game. Also living room ceiling light was burned out. Very minor issues though. Hope to be back again!
