The location was an easy drive from NRG. The inside of the property was cute, and it was nice to have laundry on site.

We had a great stay at The Flat. It was clean and cozy and was a great location to spend the weekend at the Gorge. The only negative was how much you could hear the unit above in the bedroom of the flat.

Cozy Stay at the Gorge

Although it was on the main street and therefore had traffic noise, this place was a charming little stay for a weekend exploring the New River Gorge!

Clean and fresh option close to New River Gorge sites. Easy check-in, well- appointed place. It is close to the road so there's some vehicle noise, but it seemed to be priced very competitively.

Great Stay in Oak Hill

The Flat on Main was the perfect location for our visit to New River Gorge. It was centrally located to the various areas of the National Park. It was also close to a variety of places to eat and shop . We had plenty of room to relax.

Awesome Long Weekend Stay

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Flat on Main for our trip to West Virginia. It is super close to New River Gorge National Park, Fayetteville, and many hiking trails. Our host, Harry, was very responsive and accommodating - our check-in process was seamless. We are planning to go back to WV in the Fall and will stay at the same place again!

May 2024 stay

Overall an excellent stay, very clean, decently supplied. Excellent location in the middle of a bunch of the north hiking areas. Close to grocery and gas. We were happy to have a close outdoor plug so we could charge our PHEV. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area.

very nice place. everything was as advertised. nice and close to everything. didnt look so may have missed them and didnt ask but could use a fan for the bedroom (for white noise) and a hair dryer

Cute and comfy except the bed

Loved the decor of the Flat. Thank you for supplying the toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner and pump soaps in the kitchen and bathroom. Little cramped by the table stool and the bathroom doorThe bed was very uncomfortable.

Overnight Visit

My husband and I stayed in Oak Hill for one night as a half way point in our travels. We enjoyed our stay at the Flat on Main and felt the online description was quite accurate. The only concern we observed was the shower water did not seem to stay very hot after running it for a few minutes. The location was quite convenient for white water rafting, which we ended up doing prior to continuing our travels.

Great location for local attractions, super clean, nice amenities! The only thing holding me back from a 5 star review, is that the bed and pillows we're super uncomfortable. I seriously don't mean to be harsh, but, I think a bed sheet on a concrete sidewalk may have been just as comfortable.If the owner fixes this, it will be an amazing stay, because everything else was great!

3-Day Stay at the Flat

It was wonderful. A perfect little getaway stay for going to see the New River Gorge National Park. The listing was accurate, and although a little noisy, it was very cozy and clean. The host was great with communication and provided helpful tips and popular places nearby.
