Sugartop Resort is the premier destination spot when visiting the High Country. Located in the Village of Sugar Mountain, N.C., the resort is a ten-story high-rise condominium complex. Sugartop amenities include a full-size heated indoor pool, 2 large hot tubs, 1 dry and 1 wet sauna as well as a workout facility, a new Pantry, and a coffee machine. The long-range views are without question the best in the region for your sunsets with your favorite beverages. The resort is adjacent to Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, the premier winter sports venue in the South East, as well as a challenging 18-hole championship Golf Course just minutes away in the Village of Sugar Mountain. The iconic Grandfather Mountain welcomes the sunrise each morning. The views from our balcony are breathtaking!!

Ski Weekend

We loved our stay! It was perferct for a quick ski weekend with friends. We would defintely book here again. Check in was easy. Check out was a little more hetic. If you come on a weekend (Sunday) plan ahead for everyone to check out around the same time. It was crowed as there are only 5 spaces to load your car during checkout. You are kinda at the mercy of those who are in front of you. However, that isn't a problem that was had with the owner of the unit. The location was amazing. The view was incredible. Loved having some place close to go to after a long day of ski.

Welcome to the SHINING

Construction noise was very loud. Staff was the most unfriendly I have encountered. Cannot park onsite have to park in lot and be shuttled however the shuttle runs till 11pm. Have signs all over about bears but they want you to walk up from lot after 11pm. No AC. Cannot use fireplace. 8th floor was on fire and we had no alarm. Coffee provided was 1 serving but we had 4 ppl. COLD shower. Tank is not big enough. Not allowed to load or unload in breezeway even if raining. The security staff on the other hand was the best part of the stay.
