We had a wonderful stay at Highlands Hilltop Retreat. The house is amazing!! The views are spectacular. It is very convenient to all the surrounding sites, plus restaurants. Location is great - within 30-60 minutes of all the major attractions. The home is nicely appointed, with a great kitchen, clean bathrooms and plenty of space for people to spread out. We loved the fireplace in the living room. The views from the deck are amazing.

Perfect location for visiting the natural sites in the area. Easy driving to Badlands, Custer, Mt Rushmore, Needles Highway, and Devils Tower. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife in the back yard, especially the wild turkeys. Doordash always found us which was a bonus.

What a great place for a family vacation! Beautiful and comfortable furnishing, gorgeous views from the wraparound porch and close to so many awesome adventures. We would definitely stay here again.

Location was great, with abundant wildlife out and about. Rooms were spacious, with a great kitchen. Pool table table, darts, many games, and wildlife viewing kept our group of 6 entertained.

This cabin was the perfect set up for our 4 generation gathering. The kitchen was stocked perfectly for cooking and things were easy to find. There was plenty space for everyone to gather together. The deck was a favorite place: beautiful sunrises, deer and turkey wandering each day.

Wonderful stay in South Dakota

The location of this home was perfect for exploring nearby Mount Rushmore, Custer State Park, Bear Den, Storybook Island and so much more! Each day we saw deer and wild turkeys in the yard. One evening on the deck we experienced a beautiful full and bright double rainbow. The home was very clean and perfect for our 3 generation vacation.

Beautiful home

This home had everything we needed for our stay. We were in town for our nephew’s graduation and the location was perfect. The game room was fun for the teenagers. The deck was my favorite spot for my morning coffee.

Gorgeous home that includes daily wildlife viewing on the property! Spacious and luxurious get-a-way that has everything you’ll need for your stay. The furnishings are top notch! Clean and comfortable for our family’s Dakota stay!
