Cozy & charming place, walk to beach, shops & dine

Belmont Heights/Shore is a popular place for locals and visitors alike. For outdoor activities, our home is a short walk to the beach, Belmont Pier, bike and jogging paths, and Bluff Park. The great weather makes the area enjoyable year round.

There are many restaurants and bars close by in the Second Street area and on Broadway Ave. The area is wonderful to stroll the pleasant neighborhoods.

The space
The suite is the lower level of a home with a private entrance and completely separate from the upstairs unit. It is comfortably furnished. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides for good privacy. Bathroom is in the middle. The living room has a smart TV. There is a dining area with table for 4. Everything is provided for in house meal prep. The shared patio has a gas BBQ. For your comfort in the warmer summer months, there is one window AC unit in the larger bedroom, a tower fan in the second bedroom and ceiling fans in all rooms.

The neighborhood is very walkable at all hours. A full grocery store is close by as well as restaurants, bars and various personal services.

Host lives in front house. Guests can text or use app text.

For stays longer than a few days, a washer and dryer can be made available to use upon request.

One off-street parking spot is available. Extra large vehicles will not fit. Parking on local streets is free. Street sweeping occurs on Thursdays and Fridays between 10am-noon.

Other things to note
There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. NO PARTIES and NO LOUD NOISE anytime. Only guests listed in the reservation are allowed on the property. Contact the host if you have visitors.

Being the lower level of a house, naturally there may be sounds from upstairs depending on who is occupying.

- Great place to stay ! - Clean & comfortable. - Walking distance to the beach and less than 5 min away (by car) from downtown Belmont Shore (where all the restaurants, coffee shops, bars and other stores are).- Quiet and safe neighborhood. - Convenient parking spot in the alley (for small vehicle).- Friendly and communicative host.- Highly recommended.

The House was very clean. The host was super helpful. My only issue was there is no central air. They did have a portable a/c in the main bedroom but only had a fan in the 2nd bedroom. Overall it was a very nice place but wouldn't go back when it's too hot out.

This was the perfect home base for a week of exploring Southern California. With the ocean minutes away, the cozy apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable home away from home. Our host was incredibly gracious, flexible, and helpful. We hope to return!

So many positives! Wonderful to have a parking spot. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked. Big, clean bathroom. Very easy check-in and check-out. Great location- close to beach (5-10min walk), easy to get around. AC in the main bedroom helped a lot on hot August nights. Loved having night tables on both sides of the bed! Hose outside the apartment (just past the front gate) so helpful to wash off sand. I hadn’t realized the laundry was not in the apartment. But the host Sarah made it easy to access in the garage- we didn’t end up using it but a perk when you need it. Sarah was a kind and very responsive host.

The host was attentive to our requests. The location was perfect for the beach and amusement parks. The neighborhood was nice and felt safe. We were able to walk to the grocery store shops and dinning. Beautiful area.

As a host, I really want our guests to enjoy their stay, feel at home and experience all that our city has to offer.

Belmont Heights/Belmont Shore is a vibrant neighborhood. Our property is a 5-minute walk to the beach. There are restaurants within 5 minutes as well as grocery stores and other amenities. The popular Second Street is also a short ten minute walk. However, despite being so close to all these amenities, the neighborhood is also peaceful.
