A few check in issues
The property was very cute and the location was great. Limited kitchen items.
My only concern is the check in process. On the day of check in I drove 12 hours to get there. In the rain. I had to pull over twice while I dealt with the insurance stuff and the host. I was beyond frustrated. She wanted me to find the insurance policy I purchased through VRBO. I needed to send her a copy or my code wouldn’t work. That is the job for the host. I had to call VRBO and they had to call her. Thirty minutes after check in time I still didn’t have the address or door code. When I arrived at the property it was dark and raining which made the property very difficult to find. The address on outside of building is small and not lit up at all. To make things worse, 2 maps said property was on other side of the street. The ad did not have any exterior pics of the building to make it easier to identify. At this point I wanted to cry.
Parking instructions made no sense in the dark. The numbers on the doors are about the size of a quarter.
They definitely need to make some changes to their ad.
