Whether you're planning a weekend of hiking, fishing, or simply disconnecting from the hustle, this cozy hideaway is your basecamp for adventure and relaxation. Inside, you’ll find a well-stocked kitchen, a coffee and wine bar, and a warm wood-burning stove. The cabin runs on propane for heating and cooking, with a dependable generator to charge the battery bank that powers lights and internet.

Unwind on the private deck, listen to the river rush by, grill your dinner, or stargaze from the fire pit. Best of all, soak in the wood-fired hot tub just steps from the river—an experience guests often call unforgettable.

Though fully off-grid, the cabin delivers a comfortable stay surrounded by stunning natural beauty. And when you're ready to explore, you’re only minutes from North Cascades National Park, known for its wild alpine trails, waterfalls, and abundant wildlife.

The cabin is architecturally unique in a gorgeous location on the river. It is extremely well maintained and equipped. There is nothing better after a day of hiking the North Cascades, than sitting by the river with a fire and a glass of wine. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back.

Amazing cabin!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. Everything is set up so well and thoughtfully. It was an great place to spend a rainy, lazy weekend enjoying the river view and hot tub.

Highly recommend

I’ve been trying excited about the stay for months and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location. Very close to the cascade pass. Well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, board games, puzzles etc. Host was very responsive. Perfect for our family with three kids. Kids stayed in the single beds in the loft.

Great place for a getaway

We loved our stay. The property felt secluded, quiet and relaxing. The only downside was the shower
 my 75 year old MIL could not get into it so she was unable to shower for 4 days. We hope to stay there again in the future.

Best VRBO we have stayed at. Very quiet and relaxing. If you need to detox from stress you will need to stay here. Great communication from the host making sure we were loving our stay. Highly recomend!

Incredibly peaceful cabin! A true place of healing and bliss along the Cascade River. It's conveniently located near the Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm Trails, with easy access to supplies in Marblemount.

Beautiful off-the-grid experience

This property is comfortable and beautifully situated by the wild Cascade River. It worked well for us as we explored North Cascade National Park. It is an unusual place to stay in that it is really off-the-grid, so you have to do things like turn on the generator (not hard) and rely on battery-operated lights. In many ways the property is a perfect reflection of the wilderness you find yourself in. A great experience!

Quick getaway

We were looking for a beautiful spot to take my 78 year old mom who loves the woods, but does not get around as well as she used to. This place was gorgeous. We felt like we were right in the woods as the full moon lit up the river. Really special place.

Perfect unplugged weekend

The property is stunning with unbeatable views! The kitchen had all necessary utensils for cooking and the manual provided for house instructions was very intuitive. I will mention the house is off the grid (WiFi available) so take that into consideration. The host was communicative and we would definitely stay again

Charming getaway

This cabin was everything I hoped for and more! Cannot reccomend it enough. Ron & Stacey were so welcoming, everything was spotless when we arrived. You can listen to the rive while you sleep and it was a very relaxing stay. Thanks for having us, we'll definitely be back soon!

The perfect off-the-grid getaway

The cabin is located in the best location. It is tucked away yet at the same time close to restaurants, the general store, and a gas station. The best part is that you have access to the river in the backyard which provided the best views and nature soundtrack that made the stay that much more spectacular. The cabin had everything we needed from cooking supplies to games. We truly fell in love with this cabin and are eager to rebook this place again.

Fantastic place in the woods, just outside the entrance. Must stay in North Cascades National Park!

Loved, loved, loved this place. We have stayed at over 15 VRBO’s this has to be one of the top places we have ever stayed. The remoteness or slight remoteness. The river, the wood heated hot tub. The fact it’s on generator, the Wolf oven, burners and huge indoor griddle. My 16 year old son made delicious egg fried rice. He felt like a Japanese teppanyaki chef. Made s’mores everynight on the outdoor fire pit listening the gorgeous river.

Wonderful place to stay

We has such a great stay in this magnificent property. The owners were awesome with communication and even brought us fans when we told them it was a bit warm. There are small details throughout and you can tell a lot of time and thought went into this home. The outside area is amazing and we spent most of our time there while not enjoying the park, however there are many board games and a foosball table. The place was impeccably clean and the bedding was sooooo comfy. Only downside was no cell service unless you were in the town of Marblemount, but thats the point right? Very grateful we found this wonderful place.

A Weekend in Paradise

The photos and descriptions of the property fail to do it justice - it's a paradisiacal Eden nestled within minutes of of the utopia that is the North Cascades National Park. My guests and I were overwhelmed by the beauty of the grounds, the attention to detail, the bountiful amenities, and so much more! The cabin has electricity, hot water, firewood, lanterns, internet, a stream in the backyard with breathtaking views and more little thoughtful touches than could ever be recounted in a short review. It has to be experienced to be believed!

Perfect location for North Cascades NP!

We spent 4 days staying here exploring the North Cascades National Park. What a perfect location just a few miles from the entrance of the park. We loved the cabin too, we've never seen a more incredible mountain stream view from a living room or back patio! The cabin was stocked with so many great guide books and maps about the region so you could plan your days. It was so great for cooking and relaxing at the end of each day's adventures. Speaking of adventures, in addition to hiking, we went whitewater rafting one day using a company called Triad. Their pickup location was in a parking lot right down the same road you use to access the cabin, again so convenient. And it was a great time on the river! I highly recommend this property for anyone interested in making the most out of adventures in the North Cascades National Park!

Cabin is beautiful. Being an off grid cabin was new for us and it was a lot of fun. Sound of the river was so peaceful. They did a beautiful job decorating. Only thing we did did not love was no curtian on windows in bed room. Needs an option to close shade if you wish to. But this was a great experience and would stay again if in the area

This place is top tier. We loved hearing the river from everywhere in the house. The house is well stocked with everything you might need. Nice linens, comfortable bed. The propane fire pit was a great addition due to the burn ban. The generator and battery were easy to operate and instructions were clear. Literally the only thing that might be improved is replacing the tub with a walk in shower. If you have any mobility restrictions it would be challenging to get in the shower. Amazing stay! Thanks!

Mother’s Day Getaway

What a lovely stay in the heart of the Cascades. From the sounds of the rushing Cascade River to the lovely cabin, wood burning hot tub and riverfront fire pit, it was a relaxing getaway. The cabin had everything we needed for a wonderful long weekend — a fun, eclectic collection of decor, a well equipped kitchen and a Japanese soaker tub.We were able to explore many trails and lakes of the North Cascade National Park.
