Nice House Charming Neighborhood

The Glendale is a very nice, clean house. We ate our meals in the dining room, where there was a beautiful buffet. We were greeted with a platter of delicious homemade cookies and a kind note. The gesture was warm, welcoming, and comforting. The house was spacious enough for us, and the two bathrooms were nice to have, with plenty of towels at our disposal. The owner left neat little notes around the kitchen and living room that helped to tell us what needed to be done and to know the owner was close by being a phone call away should we have questions or needs. This house is in a neighborhood with unique characteristics - a rooster that roosted early in the morning (but sounded more like an ailing dog), dogs that barked until they didn't, and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed our stay at the Glendale House. We would gladly come back for another stay.

Good location

Contacted day prior to vacation, with a mix up of check out time. It stated 11am when booked, contacted by host and asked to check out at 9am. We checked out prior to 9:30am (no small refund offered or even a thank you for checking out early). Greeted with a personal note and cookies. Pictures and other reviews accurate. Easy check-in process.

The house was nice and very clean. It was in a great location for us, the only complaint that we had was the beds were pretty uncomfortable.

July 4th Weekend

House is in a great location. Lots of great places to eat very close and stores to shop as well. Neighbors were friendly. Just what we needed for our weekend stay in Abilene, Tx.

A lil slice of heaven

The property is comfortable, clean, quiet and well equipped for our needs. The air conditioning was supreme and we remained comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and the bathrooms were nicely decorated. The owner has left no stone unturned. The price was a bonus. The neighbors were quiet, we felt safe and secure, and we were close to stores, restaurants and egress to move about Abilene. When we return to Abilene, this property will be the first one we check for availability. I believe that might be a problem because I think this hidden jewel won’t be hidden for long.

Nice stay

Likes: Lots of space for the 3 of us Very clean, nice back yard, ceiling fans through out, reclining sofa in living room, dining room and breakfast nook with table and chairs Not a deal breaker but good to know: Low AC air flow in 2nd bed room but has a ceiling fan to compensate Only one TV available which was located in living room Would have preferred a queen bed in the master instead of a full. Firm mattress in the master but the one in the second bedroom was a pillow top :) Security Cameras in front and back
