Centrally located and very nice house

The property was excellent. Bishop is centrally located to everything we wanted to do. Hiking and fishing at the most beautiful spots which were all about 45 minutes away. The house was clean and well appointed with everything we needed. The hosts are fantastic and were willing to provide suggestions as to activities. They grew up in Bishop and know the area. We loved staying there and would do so again.

Beautiful Bishop for the active outdoorsy individuals.

Really lovely cottage. Looks just like the pictures. Super quiet area. Comfy beds. Yeah 2 TVs, because everyone wants to watch something different. Central to lots of outdoor activities, hiking and drive to lakes, waterfalls when running. July not a good time for waterfalls. Suprised on all the different restaurants to choose from. Easy check in and out thanks to host Casey

We were thoroughly impressed with this VRBO! The space was spotlessly clean and very comfortable — everything was exactly as described, if not better. The accommodations were modern, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with attention to detail. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which made a big difference during the warmer days. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a smooth, relaxing stay.

Perfect mountain basecamp

We enjoyed 3 nights in this lovely guesthouse! We hiked and explored the area and came back to this great place- enjoyed the nice amenities- even cornhole in the backyard. Serene morning setting too. Highly recommend.

Great spot!

This was the perfect place! Super nice and clean inside. Beds and pillow were comfy which is huge for me. The backyard was a great little hangout spot. Would definitely come back.

Wonderful stay and hosts

Wow this place is incredible. Our hosts thought of everything and were super responsive. Every room was done so classy and cozy. We told all of our friends that this is the place to stay if in Bishop on vacation. Thanks to the Stewarts for an outstanding experience.

Property was very clean and in a nice area. We all enjoyed the close proximity to the Main Street of Bishop for shopping, restaurants, brewery etc. We also appreciated the amenities including the washer and dryer, the well stocked kitchen the Wi-Fi, AC units and the snack drawer was a nice touch. Charming Guesthouse

We can't say enough about the hosts, Casey and Brooke, and their charming guest bungalow! Attractive and well-furnished, we had plenty of room. We spent coffee time in the morning and enjoyed quiet, peaceful evenings in the private fenced-in side yard. It's located out of the mainstream, but we walked to all our downtown destinations. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and unobtrusive, and provided plenty of books, magazines and pamphlets guiding tourists to more interesting attractions than we could visit in one week. Thanks, Brooke and Casey! We'll be back for a longer stay soon!

Absolutely Perfect!

My adult daughter and I had a fabulous 4 days at the Homestead! We spent our days in the mountains and our evenings in this absolutely delightful house. It was perfectly furnished and decorated, well stocked with everything we needed and more, and quiet and comfortable in every way. So nice to be off the main drag, away from the trucks on Hwy 395, yet convenient to everything. We love this area and will definitely be back. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and helpful. This is a new listing and we wish them great success with their endeavor. Hard to imagine this will not be a favorite housing option in Bishop and loved by all visitors. Such a lovely home and great people who own it.

We stayed here for five days. We loved how clean the home was, becuae two of my family members have asthma so cleanliness (no dust) is important to us. We also loved the backyard, with the essy to use firepit and its smoke-free smothering lid! I personally appreciated the full kitchen as i always cook dinners on our family trips--their oven was awesome. The house was beautifully designed and the layout was very nice that each room is on opposite sides of the home. The guest house is set back behind the main house, but felt very private and the neighborhood was very quiet and peacful. I want to also thank the owners for being awesome about my disabled mother's service dog---although the law allows us to bring him anywhere (this is a no pets rental) its always nice to know the owners are welcoming about him for our peace of mindWe really appreciated their kind words when i recahed out ahead to give them the heads upWe loved how thoughful the owners were, as they had left many gifts/snacks in the house for us to enjoy, which we did! As a side note, I loved how many options of lights are in the house to fully light the rooms up, and my brother really appreciated how well and fast the AC system cooled the house. Its great that they provide the entire long driveway for parking because we drive a 15 passanger van. Over all, we felt right at home here and give it 5 stars! I highly recommend staying here on your trip in Bishop. Ps. Gas station just down street has the best slushies!!

Perfect Adventure Basecamp

What a cute and comfy home away from home! The house is perfectly located in a quiet and safe Bishop neighborhood with the Main Street with a bakery and brewery in walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to fix a yummy meal after a day of adventure out in the mountains. The pellet stove gave the house a warm feeling. Sleeping in the comfortable beds gets you well rested for another day outside. We enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back.

A Diamond in Bishop, California!

This was no ordinary guest house! It was totally exclusive and private and came with its own backyard and two car driveway! The hosts did everything they can to ensure we felt at home and comfortable. This diamond in Bishop will be one we plan to contact again on our return. I strongly suggest planning ahead and secure your dates with the hosts soon because I believe it will be in high demand once the word is out! Special thanks to the hosts for checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed for a great weekend getaway!
