117B Hickman St.- Are you looking for a rental for a few nights or several weeks? You have found the perfect place. Just listed in the nick of time for Memorial Day weekend and ready for summer guests. A completely renovated second floor apartment that is complete with the perfect outdoor deck. As you walk up the staircase you will find a relaxing oasis. The deck is wonderful for summer morning coffee and game nights on the outdoor table. In addition to the outdoor seating there is a table in the kitchen. Complete with a comfortable living space and a primary bedroom and bath. There are two additional bedrooms that share a full bathroom. The owner provides two on street parking permits. Parking is not allowed in the driveway.

Nightly rentals permitted with a 2 night minimum. Weekly discounts for 7 night stays.

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Great place! Don’t miss out!

This second floor apartment was bigger than we expected and spotless! Very easy location close to everything including the beach. 6 adults and we had plenty of room. Comfy beds and a great night sleep!

Nice Location

Great new unit

Girls getaway

The unit is very nice, bright and cheery but the seating was not adequate for us. The kitchen stools were uncomfortable and the sofa was not big enough for 5 of us.

Terrific Spot!

This cozy suite has a lot of creature comforts. They thought of many items one would like while away from home! Everything was clean & we wanted for nothing. It’s also nice to park the car after a long drive & not have to get back in until it’s departure time. Everything is close by! Great neighborhood too!

Give this place try!

Everything was clean. Parking was easy since it was off season. There is more space than the pictures depict. Location is close to beach and the main strip. There was construction going on downstairs, but wife talked to them. They were good about keeping it down. Our kids locked a bathroom from the inside. The property manager/maintenance came within 30 minutes to unlock it. We enjoyed the stay, and would highly recommend this location.

Girls weekend!

It was overall a great stay! We were able to walk everywhere and just leave our cars parked. My mother-in-law has had two hip surgeries but the stairs and the walk to the beach was good for a weekend stay, but thankful we were not staying longer. Kitchen was well stocked. Beds were a bit smaller than we were expecting.

Great place

Recently remodeled and done well. Everything worked and was clean. Good area and easy walk to a lot of places. We got two parking passes and finding parking on the street was reasonably easy. Only negative is availability of incidental’s. It was noted in the listing so I can’t fault it but we didn’t even have a sponge to wash dishes. Some minimal level of incidental’s would be an improvement.

Wonderful Weekend

We only stayed for a weekend, but it was amazing. The weather was wonderful, the place was outstanding. Our only concern is that there were no bath mats in the bathrooms, had we know we would have brought our own. Other than that the stay was perfect.

It was pleasant.

We were impressed with the internal cleanliness of the property, however, we had to sweep off the deck, clean the deck coffee table, and put the outdoor cushions on the furniture. Also, the instructions said we needed to bring paper products but there was plenty of toilet paper and paper towels. The location was excellent, bedrooms were a good size, but the inside space for everyone to dine together was difficult. Overall, a pleasant, quiet street and apartment.

Nice Property with Close access to the Beach & Town

The place is nice and quaint with great access to all Rehoboth Beach has to offer. Do read the listing thoroughly - the only access is the spiral staircase (so large luggage would be difficult) and the house doesn’t have basics (soap, paper products, coffee). We opted for the linen package, which worked well. We read it thoroughly so none of this was a surprise, but we wanted to flag for others.

Perfect for our long weekend!

The perfect spot for a long weekend with friends. A lot of rentals in the area are weekly only so it was nice to find this one with just a two night minimum. The property was exactly as described. Nice updated and VERY clean when we arrived. We opted out of the linen fee and brought our own which was fine. Be aware that you will have to check in at the Coldwell Banker office on Rt. 1 which is about 5-7 minutes away, but the office was easy to find and everyone was very helpful. Great location just a few blocks from the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Great property, but service should be better

We enjoyed where we stayed. Very clean, organized, not far from the beach. What we didn’t enjoy was the service. Coldwell Banker was in charge of communications and check-in. There were errors on their part that could have easily been avoided and not lead to confusion. The given Wifi password is wrong and is still listed wrong when we left. We were only able to get the correct password beacuse we ran into the owner later in the day. The property listed a washer and dryer in its description, but we couldnt find one when we arrived. I checked the listing again before I sent a message and it did list washer and dryer. I got a response that there was no washer and dryer listed on the lease agreement and then they deleted it off the app description which I found dishonest. It left a bad taste in my mouth that they were quick to correct that mistake, but not the Wifi when the previous tennents had the same issue (owner said so when she gave us the wifi password). The actual property is great, but the inconsistencies need to be addressed.

Great place right by the beach

We had a great stay at this property. The apartment is so clean and updated which we really liked and appreciated! We also love that it has 2 bathrooms. It would have been tight for 6 people but it could work; we fit 4 people comfortably. I was a little disappointed that I had to pick up and drop off a key and parking pass from the realty company; most places have a lock box or a code so that was slightly annoying to have to do when arriving and leaving. We also were not notified of having to do that, so I had to contact the company on our way there to find out how to get in. We opted to have no towels or sheets but this also meant no toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, or shower rugs and we didn’t realize any of this until we got there. So we had to go to the store after already having to stop to get the keys and passes. I’ve never stayed in a rental that didn’t have these amenities already. Overall it was a great stay in a quiet neighborhood but in walking distance to the beach and so much to do! Next year we’ll just have to bring a few more things :)

Great Location

Perfect location! 5 minute walk to the beach and town center. It was nice to be in a quiet neighborhood. Owners really put a lot of love into their home. We brought 2 teen girls, very safe, lots of entertainment for the girls. Apartment was super clean, had everything you would need for a quick beach trip. (3 nights) We brought our own chairs and beach buggy. If we stayed longer a washer/dryer would be nice but not necessary. Everyone had their own space. Ice maker was a huge perk! We brought extra paper products. ( bring extra toilet paper) . We would definitely rent again. The only negative was the spiral staircase. Very slippery especially in the morning with dew. Spoke to owner he’s planning on putting a new staircase in for next season. It was our first time in Rehoboth Beach and loved loved loved it. Check in was super easy, and the staff at Coldwell Banker were excellent! If your looking for a family friendly location this is the place to go. Next time we will rent bikes and explore the area more. 5 stars 😀

No basic hospitality amenities

Property was 4 stars. Was in very good condition and tastefully furnished. That was good. Circular stairs as only entrance were charming but not so much when carrying multiple suitcases for the family. What was not good is not having basic amenities like toilet paper and tissues (very little was provided), zero towels (we had to buy some), no linens (we had to borrow some from friends), and zero trash bags (we had to borrow a few from a neighbor). No beach amenities like umbrellas or chairs. When a family is already spending a premium rate for a nice convenient property for our one and only family vacation, not having those basic family-friendly amenities is a big minus. Also odd is having to pay a cleaning fee but we are still required to wash our dishes when we leave! It makes no common sense to us as renters; I guess it makes sense to the property owner or management company. Regardless, all of this is enough to shift our future preferences to a hotel rather than a VRBO.

Lovely Large Loft

This place is larger than it looks from the pictures. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and the location is excellent. The check-in process is through the local Coldwell Banker realty office. The rental included pots/pans, toaster, coffee maker, salt/pepper, cooking implements, utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, tupperware, baking sheets, wine opener, hand soap, dish soap/sponge, toilet paper (though you likely want to bring extra). The listed price is similar but not exactly the same as you get on the lease from the realty office. There is an optional linens package that includes towel, hand towel, wash cloth, bed sheets and pillow cases. Otherwise these are not provided. It was easy to find street parking right near the rental, you can pull into the driveway for loading/unloading. Pros: Excellent location, clean, comfortable beds, good amount of space, two city parking permits! Cons: Spiral staircase up to the entry, poor wifi quality. I would not rely on the wifi if you needed to do work, it does not have the bandwidth to keep multiple devices connected. The realtor is in contact with the owner to get this improved so this may not be an issue for future stays. Overall, this is an excellent place for your beach vacation. 1.5 blocks from the beach and two blocks from the main strip in Rehoboth means everything is in easy access but you're in a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely recommend staying here as long as your group is able to do stairs.
