Sea Colony - a very unique resort in Bethany Beach

701 S. Edgewater House Rd., Sea Colony- Sea Colony is a very unique resort in Bethany Beach, one of a kind to the area. Unit 701 is located on the seventh floor with terrific views of the ocean! The unit has just completed a renovation and it boasts numerous modern touches and relaxing style. New flooring, furniture, bedding, and fixtures will make your stay in this condo an absolute pleasure. The unit includes a primary bedroom with a full bathroom and water views. There is a guest bedroom that shares a hall bathroom. The living area opens up onto the deck that provides wonderful views of the ocean and one of the numerous pools. There is assigned parking at the condo for 1 car. This is a resort like no other in this area! Sea Colony guests enjoy exclusive access to a half-mile of private beach, up to 12 pools (including two indoor), world class tennis, pickle ball, state-of-the-art fitness centers and activities for all ages. You do not need to leave the complex, there is always something to do. Resort amenities are not included in the rental fee, anyone over the age of 4 must purchase a badge to have access to any amenities at Sea Colony including the beach.

A linen package can be purchased for your stay. The cost of the linen package for one week's stay is $162.50

All VRBO reservations are a booking request only until confirmed by Property Manager. You will be required to sign a Residential Lease Agreement and make your payment within the required deadlines provided or your booking request will be cancelled. As a property manager, we welcome “Special Event” rentals. All properties are individually owned and not all properties are available for “Special Event” rentals. Credit Card payments subject to 2% fee.

Anniversary weekend.

Everything was wonderful about the property. New, clean, excellent view. Not happy about being walked in on by another realtor showing the property. No appointment, barely even knocked, just keyed in and proceeded with her showing even though my husband and I were half asleep. The property manager apologized profusely, but something about our privacy was shaken for the rest of the trip.

we had a really good time. weather was great. we've stayed at several units in edgewater & this was one of the nicer ones. we like going this time of year because it's less crowded but weather is still nice. we like the area because it is less crowded but central to rehoboth & ocean city if you want more action & walkable to bethany restaurants, shops, boardwalk. about the unit: as advertised Need more/better pots and pans Bed a little too high & so so comfy for us TV a bit too small in bedrooms for us Couch a little too soft for us clean Nicely decorated Seems fairly newly renovated Liked enough space on bathroom sinks for toiletries Shower nice & hard in master bath Liked hardwood floors throughout. perfect location great view good parking space like the access code entry always hate to leave...❤️☀️🏖️🌊

Property was nice and convenient. Since it was the first time at this town I asked for direction to the condo. I was just told across the street. I was not sure how to get to the right street to cross the street. I was told our badgers were going to be $50 but at check in there were $55 and told they change often. And I think it is so wrong to charge a 17 year old another $55 for a lost badge for our remaining two days.

Neat and Tidy

Appears to be recently redone. All the expected condo amenities. The entire property is clean and well kept. Property management process was a bit choppy but they made it right. Don't buy the damage waiver from VRBO when you first engage to rent, it is included in the Coldwell Banker lease that you sign separately. Unless you like paying twice. Sea Colony really works hard to maintain both the East and West properties. Lots of activities and amenities.

Nickle and dimed at every turn

I stayed here with a few friends and we were extremely disappointed in the entire experience. For whatever reason, the owner nickels and dimes guests at every turn. That means you practically have to move in yourself, except there is furniture. - You must bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, bath soap, detergent - You must bring your own sheets and towels (or pay an exorbirant fee for them and then make your own bed and remove them at the end) It also means that the owner took shortcuts with just about everything else. The beds are very uncomfortable and I slept terribly. In lieu of a desk or nightstand in the guest room, there is a bar chair with a lamp on it. You can feel just how cheap everything is in the unit. There are also tons of rules and a "lease agreement" you have to sign after your reservation is confirmed. All in all, misleading listing and extremely disappointing experience. I would never stay here again and would never recommend it to anyone I liked.

Beautiful Newly Renovated Ocean Front Condo

I lined up this condo for my mother-in-law and father-in-law to stay while we had another condo in the same complex. This beautiful condo is in the Edgewater Building which is the largest building in the middle of the entire complex. Directly Oceanfront with a beautiful swimming large pool area. This condo was recently renovated and everything is up to date, fresh, and new. We all enjoyed our stay at Sea Colony.
