House at the Lake in Moneta! Community pool, private acceas to dock & boat ramp.

Beautiful house located in Village East at Smith Mountain Lake with a front and back deck updated with lots of seating to take in the sunrise and sunset views of the mountains. Come and get-away from it all, with a peaceful retreat that includes a ping pong table in the garage for the competitive play after your fun day at the lake. The main floor includes the kitchen, and dining area with the main living room. There are four TVs located on the floor to ensure you don't miss anything. Two bedrooms located to include the master with king bed and the other bedroom with bunk beds that include a double and twin bed. Go upstairs to find another living room with a table to puzzle or play games. The living room includes two beds in nooks and a sofa bed with a large tv. The kids will have a blast upstairs! Large bonus bedroom located with king bed and double waterbed. The room also has a futon in the room...very large and spacious with a TV.
Take a swim in the community pool! Large pool for you and your guests for the summer. Bring your boat or jet ski to launch at the private boat ramp or have fun with the kids at the community dock swimming and fishing. It's a perfect way to get away from it all! The house is located 35 minutes within the Coves Amphitheater, 35 mins within the Harvester in Rocky Mountain, 15 mins away from Virginia Dare Boat Ride, 30 mins away from Peaks of Otter, 20 mins from Booker T. Washington National Monument, 40 mins away from Liberty University, 20 mins away from Booker T. Washington, 15 mins fron SML State Park, next to Franklin County Moonshine World, and 30 minutes from Salem. Strategically located 1 mile from Hickory Hill Vineyards and other amazing wineries in the area. Also, 30 minutes away from D-Day Memorial located in beautiful Old Americana Town of Bedford. We are a 15 minute drive and 10 minute boat ride from Bridgewater Plaza. Don’t miss pirates weekend 18-20 July, with events at every marina for the kids…get your water guns and canons ready for the battle! There is something for everyone!!

The Sweet Spot

At first I was a little disappointed that I wasn’t directly on the lake, but we had two small grandchildren with us, so it turned out to be ideal! The community pool was a half mile away and opened at 8:00 in the morning, so we went everyday. Perfect for the kids! Shopping and Bridgewater Plaza were within a 10 minute drive which was handy for fun and picking up milk and things we forgot. I was able to watch the sunrise every morning from the front porch, get in daily walks around the neighborhood, and watch the deer from the back porch in the afternoon. The kitchen was well stocked and there were a LOT of beds to choose from. Even though we weren’t directly on the lake, the house was in a sweet spot, especially for the grandkids.

Weekend graduation

We had family meet up in VA for a graduation from Liberty. Lynnette was very prompt with responses and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay very much! The house is set up great for large family, and the area is quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset. We will definitely book with Lynnette again if we are ever in this area.

Great, secluded vacation spot

This property is in a neighborhood in a rural area. Lots of mountains, fields, lake and and a “small town” area. There is a beautiful church 5 minutes down the road with amazing, breathtaking views. We did not get to look at the lake or the pool included with this property, but the house itself was beautiful and spacious, and the upstairs area is a dream for kids/entertainment.
