The stay was absolutely amazing, very clean and comfortable everything you would want in a place away from your home. We enjoyed fishing off the dock the three days we were there. The host was great, thank you for allowing us to stay at your vrbo, we are looking forward to renting again.

Sandy was a wonderful and very responsive host. She made sure we felt very welcomed and 'at home' in this lovely house on the water. The home and owners made this a trip we'll remember.

This 2-bedroom/2-bath house was perfect for our short getaway. Not too big but so very comfortable. I felt at home immediately. It was spotless, well equipped, and pleasantly decorated. The house has a lovely view of the cove out the back sliding door (onto a small deck with chairs) where we could watch the ospreys, herons and various other birds and enjoy the sunsets. Such a peaceful and inviting place! Check in was easy and the host was available to answer my couple questions about the house and our stay. Thank you for making your place available through VRBO.

Great waterfront cottage!

High recommendation for this property. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed, the bedrooms were comfortable. Our host Sandy was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely rent again!

We really can't say enough good things about both the home and this host on this trip. The home was well appointed and had undergone a very tasteful and thorough renovation recently. There kitchen was well stocked without everything you need to cook and enjoy throughout your stay. The host was kind and accommodating, and while they reside right next door, they provided us with plenty of space to enjoy the full breadth of this lovely property without intrusion. The large lawn and private dock area provide plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and all that "life on the water" in the Northern Neck has to offer. While cell service in the area is a bit weak, the WiFi provided all the access to entertainment we needed throughout our stay - and we thoroughly enjoyed the ping pong table throughout our stay. Hopefully we can look to visit again soon!

Beautiful home, pictures online DO NOT do it justice at all. One of the cleanest homes I've rented! The owners live close by & were so nice & made me feel very safe while traveling alone, (Sandy even offered me a safe ride home if I needed it from a party I was attending) the hospitality shown here was above and beyond! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting a nice, safe & quiet place to stay!

Great place to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and reconnect with family and friends.

House was lovely, had everything needed and more. Fun to have ping pong table, games and books to enjoy as well. The dock on the water was great for relaxation, blue crabbing, fishing, and bird watching. Appreciated the great communication from Sandy offering us help and information for our stay, and for being so quick to answer questions I had. Highly recommended!

Perfect weekend get-away

This home is adorable! Tasteful beachy decor, super clean, very comfortable furnishings (you have to use the recliner!) and anything/everything you could possibly need in kitchen and bathrooms. The chilled glasses in the freezer were an unexpected but very welcome surprise and perfect for a nice cold beer out on the deck at the end of the day (pretty sunsets and great waterview) The whole setting is very peaceful. Host is very responsive and helpful and left us some great treats. I would book here again in a heartbeat 💓

Relaxing Family Fun Weekend

Oh my goodness! From the moment we walked in, I announced that I already wanted to come back again! Our sweet host thought of every little thing to make us so comfortable and was so easy to reach with any questions that we had. She truly went above and beyond to make this the best stay we’ve ever had anywhere. My son and his buddy loved being able to run out to the backyard and go fishing right away. Our lunch consisted of all the blue crabs that our boys caught on site! I almost don’t want to let the secret out of the bag on how wonderful this place and host are as we don’t want to not be able to easily book this lovely home again. What a gem of a house and a host!

Quiet and peaceful space

We came in for our parents' anniversary celebration and needed a couple of extra bedrooms and bathrooms for the family for a few nights. This house served that purpose very well. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how fresh and clean the house smelled. Then we entered the kitchen to find cinnamon rolls waiting on the counter for us with a lovely note from the host. The decor is lovely. The house is well stocked (from the bath towels to the kitchen utensils/small appliances) with all you need for your stay. Nice deck and big back yard to sit out and view the beautiful river view. A bbq grill is available. There's a ping pong table and fishing poles in the garage, as well as an exercise machine. You will not be disappointed with this space. Sandy, the host, was very responsive to all my messages and made herself available if we needed anything. She even let us check-in early, as we were coming from out-of-state. I could say more, but I think you'll need to book and experience for yourself. Definitely a 5* all around.

This stay was one night on a road trip. Our previous booking had cancelled, and we needed to find a new place last minute. This house ended up being nicer than our original booking, and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the host Sandy is. There had been an issue with how previous guests left the residence, and Sandy worked so hard to have everything back to normal for our arrival. We could not notice that anything was off with the property, but there were still nice treats from a local bakery with a hand-written note. Sandy was so thoughtful and generous; she elevated the experience of an already lovely stay. Plus, the property is gorgeous! The view of the water and nature sounds are so relaxing.
